This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was in disrepair and in desperate need of an update and a thorough cleaning. The hotel itself is also in need of an update but not as bad as the rooms. We only interacted with the front desk staff and they were pleasant. Breakfast was buffet style and was standard. Location was good. Regarding the room the bathroom had water damage throughout, and the tub was broken. There was a big dent in the tub (that someone tried to repair), it felt like any moment you were going to fall through the floor. The bed didn’t have proper sheets, they were using a flat sheet in lieu of a fitted sheet. The hotel had central air, but didn’t appear to be on even though the city was going through a heat wave. You could hear everything going on outside and inside the lobby from your room. Also, room doesn’t have blow dryer and never received one even though we requested it. The floors were coming up, the walls were dirty and the recessed lighting was coming out of the ceiling. I will never stay at this...
Read moreThis hotel should not be permitted to receive guests. It is completely out of shape, and in desperate need of proper renovation. It has very large rooms, yet are not comfortable and cozy since the decor is already in need of an update. The windows and balcony doors don’t close properly, so there’s street noise the entire night. It’s absolutely insane, I almost went nuts with the constant honking and people yelling on the avenue right below my room. The bed sheets were horrific, and the pillows were a bunch of polyester balls rolled up inside a sac, impossible to get comfortable at night. I had the worst experience ever, and I most definitely know I won’t be staying anywhere near a Wyndham anytime soon. Worst hotel group in the world by far. I feel pitiful for the staff that work here, it’s not there fault the hotel is such a disaster. I must insist that the receptionists were always very kind and helpful, and were the only positive thing worth mentioning in...
Read moreBad, bad experience. First impression was checking in when we were met with a man with glasses and a condescending attitude. Once checked in Tyrion was acceptable but the TV is about 20” too small to watch from the bed. Moving on, air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and they will not turn it on when you request it. Windows have no screen so when opening them mosquitos got in the room and ate me up all over my a and even my face. When I explained this to the staff they still ignored my request for the ac to be tuned on as they said it would bother other guests, there is a dial for the ac in the room but it’s useless.
We had stayed at the Wyndham Esplendor in Montevideo where there were bed bugs in our friends room. So when I got these bits on all over it caused great alarm but turned out to be mosquitos from having to have the windows open since they wouldn’t keep the ac cooling for us.
Wyndham has got...
