Things to know -

This is an old hotel. It is well maintained and clean, but the design is like stepping back in time. The air conditioning system is modern and that is a big perk.

It is connected to the Sheraton, where the fitness center and amenities are. There is no spa, but you can get a legit massage in a small room. About half the cost of the luxury hotel spas & a good treatment. Mildred was great.

The club lounge has a nice sunset view. The food is simple but not bad, and enough you could make a meal of it. Wine & beer served. Only open in the evening. No breakfast.

The breakfast served at the restaurant is good with a varied buffet and omelets available. The coffee is mediocre, as in most places in Argentina. Watch out - breakfast is about $40!

The double rooms are two SINGLE beds. Small beds but not uncomfortable. The rooms are spacious. River view rooms also have views into the rooms at the adjoining Sheraton.

The hairdryer is better than typical. I found the shampoo & conditioner offered to be low quality. The robes are small and old. Cheap slippers are provided. Better than nothing.

The fitness center is well equipped. The locker room has a steam room and sauna.

During my stay, the hotel was full of cruise ship passengers. Take note as could lead to longer check-in/out times and a packed club lounge.

Avoid rooms that have an adjoining door to others - my neighbors spoke loudly and I now know all about their lives. They were disappointed that washcloths are not provided.

International brand & premium hotels in Buenos Aires are expensive. This locations works well for business or cruises. If leisure travel, staying closer to Puerto Madero might be better, but there are no Marriott hotels there.

I’ve stayed here twice. I don’t love it, but it’s not bad. I think it’s a bit overpriced, but it’s fair for the market and quality compared to lower-prices brand hotels.

There are some great boutique hotels in BA, but not as convenient for business.

The people...

I had a good experience at the Park Tower. My 3 stars comes from some mismatch in expectations mostly based on branding. The staff at the hotel was friendly, responsive, and spoke English well. The hotel is an older hotel and attached to a Sheraton. The pool area and fitness center belong to the Sheraton and feel more like Sheraton amenities than a more luxury hotel. That’s okay they still got the job done. There isn’t coffee available in the rooms so you have to call room service for an additional cost to have coffee in the morning again this is okay but inconvenient it took 10-15 mins from time ordering coffee to receiving it in the morning - definite room for improvement on this front. There isn’t a mini bar in the room so any sudden urges for water, soda, or a drink again has to be through a slower than expected room service call. The shower runs out into the main part of the bathroom like crazy — the floor is marble so it became incredibly slick and you end up with sobbing wet towels. The location is great. It’s close to AEP airport, walking distance to shopping and popular tourist areas, easy access to Palermo and the harbor area. If you’re a runner you can easily access trail running in the Ecology park. The location was a big win. The last area for improvement is a policy that was definitely unexpected for a more luxury/convenience focused hotel - after checkout you were no longer allowed to access the pool area, locker rooms, or fitness center… this is really inconvenient if you have a lot of time between checkout and departing Buenos Aires. It is an easy thing to change and expectation for the most...

The Park Tower hotel is the third Starwood property I have stayed in while working in BA. I am happy to say - it is the best. We were on a flight that was canceled due to mechanical issues. We called the Park Tower while waiting for our bags. It was 2 in the morning. They were quickly able to accommodate us. We arrived at the hotel and everything regarding check-in went VERY smoothly. They had a pre-printed invoice with all of our information. We simply checked the rate (which they included breakfast for us at a VERY reasonable rate) and took our key. The room was lovely. Clean, comfortable and exactly what I needed after the disappointment of a canceled flight. The bathroom was clean and gigantic, which was a welcome sight after the previous hotel. The room service was lovely. The private butler service was fantastic. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was huge and delicious. The car service to the airport was far more comfortable than the Manuel Leon service we had been using. I cannot say enough about this hotel. It will be my only choice if I need to be in BA for work in the future. Thank you Park Tower for making me so comfortable! I will add, I am a business traveler and do not care so much about where a hotel is in the city as my transport is covered. If I were on a holiday, I may be inclined to want something a little closer to the action. However, I have stayed in several hotels in BA. I may just sacrifice the location (it is truly just a little further out), for extra comfort - which is abundant at the Park Tower. Happy and...

I recently stayed at the Park Tower in Buenos Aires, a hotel in the Marriott Luxury Collection, and was deeply disappointed with the experience. The hotel, which once might have been a beacon of luxury, now presents a rather forlorn picture, a shadow of its former glory. The general condition of the property is alarmingly deteriorated. The carpets, seemingly not replaced for decades, are wrapped and worn, detracting significantly from the hotel's aesthetic. The furniture too is visibly stained and unkempt, which is not what one expects from a Marriott luxury establishment. Service quality, an aspect I particularly value, was non-existent. The front desk, typically the nerve center of a hotel's hospitality, was unresponsive with phones going unanswered. This lack of attention was not only inconvenient but also quite disconcerting for guests expecting a certain standard of service. The hotel's maintenance appears to be in serious neglect. I encountered areas with broken glass and ceilings actively leaking water, crudely managed with trash cans placed underneath. This is not only unsightly but also raises concerns about guest safety. In hindsight, the Sheraton next door would have been a preferable choice, seeming to offer the level of service and upkeep one would anticipate from a renowned hotel chain. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the Park Tower has the potential to reclaim its status as a premium destination in Buenos Aires, but it requires significant improvements in both upkeep and service.
