Hotel Russia — Hotel in Tsakhkadzor

As travelers from Australia, we spent a couple of days at Hotel Russia in Tsaghkadzor, and it exceeded all our expectations. The experience was nothing short of amazing!

The rooms were spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. The all-inclusive buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was a highlight, featuring a wide variety of delicious food and desserts that catered to all tastes.

The hotel offers fantastic amenities, including free access to two children’s playrooms, ping pong tables, a heated saltwater pool set at a comfortable 30°C, and a fully equipped gym. They even provide a complimentary trip to the ropeway and back, which added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.

The staff were exceptional—kind, respectful, and always ready to help. Adding a magical touch to our evenings, there was live music on the first floor, with a pianist and a violinist creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. Guests gathered to dance or simply enjoy the beautiful melodies.

The service was truly outstanding, and every moment felt special. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Russia Tsaghkadzor to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. It’s a must-visit! We can not wait...

I recently stayed at Hotel Russia, and it was an extremely disappointing experience that fell far short of its purported 5-star rating.

Firstly, our room was in a deplorable state with dirty sheets that had unsettling red spots. This alone was a major red flag about the hygiene standards of the hotel. Additionally, the staff's attitude was notably unfriendly and unhelpful, which significantly dampened our stay.

The food was another letdown. Not only was the variety very limited, but the portion sizes were also unsatisfactorily small. This certainly did not meet the expectations of a high-quality hotel dining experience.

Moreover, another room allocated to us had an unbearable smell, making it difficult to stay in. The gym was equipped with outdated, Soviet-era machinery that was not only rusted but also seemed unsafe to use. This raised serious concerns about the hotel's attention to the safety and well-being of its guests.

Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Hotel Russia. It is a far cry from the luxurious and comfortable stay one would expect from a 5-star...

It's good enough, but the regular price it too high, you have to use some coupons for discount (just search by hotel name). Pros - good location, big size, comfortable rooms, indoor pool (free till 17:00) and saunas, small gym, good bar. In the basement there are play center with video-games and others activities, but not of them are in working condition. Cons - very poor breakfast and dinner, they ever didn't real coffee, just instant one. In the pool you have to bring your towel and slippers, and no other services (as drinks or snakes). Something strange with water, it's very hot, sometimes you can't get a shower with that high temperature and the cold water's torrents is too small. Conclusions - if you are going to stay here, find discount's coupon first, the direct price is too high for that frugal food...
