Littomore Suites Bathurst — Hotel in Bathurst

After reading fellow travelers rating of this place it just goes to show we all have different standards. The apartment, number 17 is almost situated on the busy street. A lot of traffic noise. The first thing we had to do was put the dishwasher on using an intensive programme to get the smell out and to clean the dishes. Old old old, ripped curtains, mosquitos inside despite the screens. Dark and drab decor. Not a recommended place to stay even for one night. The old air conditioner , only one in the main room, none in the bedroom required cleaning. Maybe even time to get a new one. WiFi not capable to support all the tenants using it. Today most people have at least 2 devices and everyone is logged on at the same time. So get up to speed if you wish for satisfied customers. Again , I’m shocked how people rate these apartments 9 and above. We stayed at Comfort Inn Mudgee yesterday and that was OK. They had a rating of 8.2 and that was better and fresher than this. We stayed there to attend a wedding. We had the mother of the groom staying with us so opted for a king bed and double sofa bed. The king bed was so uncomfortable as was the sofa bed. The morning of the wedding there was no hot water and we all had to have a bird bath in the sink with kettle water. When we reported this to the front desk they told us the plumber was on the way but that was of no use to us at that point. The next morning we were leaving to head back to Sydney only to find yet again no hot water so no shower yet again. When we checked out we once again said that we could not shower due to no hot water. They apologized and said it had been an ongoing issue for a couple of weeks now. We asked why we were not told of the issue when checking in so that we had the option of going somewhere else. There was no offer of a partial refund only told we would be looked after better on our next visit. Maybe you should look after your clients better on every visit. Sorry but there will not be...

I stayed here 2 nights while travelling for work and was happy to get a room with everything in top condition - the bed was clean & comfortable, shower was hot & had good water pressure and the little lamps on each bedside table were just right (not too bright) for some reading at night. Great location which is just a 4 minute walk or 1 minute drive from the shopping area which has everything from Coles & Woolies to plenty of food outlets. I was also pleasantly surprised at the friendly and professional manner by the receptionist, compared to the average "Here's your key, seeya later" one gets at the average motel in regional towns.
