BlueMIll Lodge — Hotel in Bright

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Blue Mill Lodge, and it was nothing short of a fantastic experience! This charming accommodation is a hidden gem in a beautiful town, offering everything you could wish for in a getaway.

Location-wise, it's a dream. You can easily explore the town's lovely shops and attractions, all within a leisurely walk from the lodge. The historical train station is just a stone's throw away – incredibly convenient (and perfect for some cute pics)!

What truly sets Blue Mill Lodge apart is its welcoming attitude towards children and pets. Families with children will find it a haven, with enjoyment, safety and comfort being top priorities. (I'm sure any furry friends would also have a great time).

We stayed in winter - so warming up and settling down for a cosy evening after a day of tobogganing was the name of the game! I imagine that regardless of the season, Blue Mill Lodge is well-equipped to make your stay comfortable. In winter, there was ample firewood and ambient lighting, making those chilly evenings just perfect.

Cleanliness is something we all appreciate, and Blue Mill Lodge doesn't disappoint. The place was spotless when we arrived, giving us peace of mind during our entire stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the boys loved the spa bath!

Bookworms, take note – this lodge has an exceptional collection of thought-provoking books that cater to various tastes. I was happy find classic treasures, and important reads (Behrouz Boochani) alongside lesser-known writers and poets like Darby Hudson.

Our family can't wait to return to Blue Mill Lodge. It's not just a place to stay; it's an experience that leaves a lasting mark. The perfect blend of convenience, comfort and character makes it a top choice for any type of traveler. Whether you're seeking a romantic escape, a family vacation or some solo relaxation, this lodge will exceed your expectations.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bluemill Lodge! With our 6-week old baby, Australian Shepherd and two sets of grandparents, we needed a lot of space and the lodge certainly didn’t disappoint! The layout works perfectly for big families and the outside space was perfect for a big dog to run around and stay completely secure. It’s a beautiful tree-lined walk to the centre of town which we loved doing every morning, before returning to the house to cozy up in front of the fire. I have been coming to Bright staying at Blue Mill Lodge for the last 10 yrs. It is truly the most beautiful holiday house I have ever been in . Everything is there for your use all you need to bring are your clothes. The host is just so extremely helpful. The service that is provided is the most efficient that I have experienced. The views from the house are spectacular and if you are wanting peace and quiet this is the place to be. The house is always immaculate at my arrival fire wood is provided and every kitchen utensils that you could possibly use are provided. Can’t wait to get back to Bright and Blue Mill next year.
