Whilst on our adventure my partner and I decided we were hungry for lunch, we walked past Food Wine Friends and I saw they were rated pretty high so we stopped in, it wasn’t busy when we arrived and we were able to pick any table we pleased, we got a couple menus and sat down.

We browsed the menu and I decided on the rueben bagel with a green superblast and my partner got the pancakes with a mango smoothie, the drinks came out within 10 minutes. The green superblast was good, very refreshing and had that healthy kick to it, the mango smoothie on the other hand wasn’t that good, it was more of a mango milkshake without much mango flavour..

The food came out not too long after. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, lots of compote on them making them fairly sweet, the strawberries were nice and fresh and the ice cream finished it off, it could definitely double up as a dessert. The bagel wasn’t too bad, the bagel itself was more of a roll instead of a bagel, it didn’t have the dense-chewy texture of a bagel but more of a soft bread roll, the taste of it whole was good but I just wish there was more than 2 extremely thin slices of corned beef, it would definitely make it better if there was more meat. Overall would rate this...

Well......definitely trying to cash in on the tourist dollar but not up to the standard they think they are.....$3 dearer for basic bacon and eggs than most great cafes in Melb or anywhere for that matter, eggs that hard I could play a round of golf with them, toast was burnt to within an inch of its life, needed a chainsaw to cut it and mulcher to chew it.....then.....don’t even get me started on the tea.....why can’t you use a milk jug that doesn’t pour and just drips all over the table??? Fk me swingin!!!!!!! Very disappointed and the lowlight of our great weekend away in Bright, will be back but not to...

The kitchen is INSANELY slow, customer service is CATASTROPHIC. Having literally no patience to customers. Especially the girl behind the counter. Poor attitude, no politeness, very unprofessional. We have waited for half an hour and she even served one of our plates to another table, who came in later than us! And she didn’t even think of there were four people with not even a single piece of bread served. I don’t know whether it’s because we aren’t white or not. This place is No Good. The food is even cold as ice. Very beautiful town, but a disgusting morning, thanks...

Great little place. The food and coffee are well worth a stop in Bright. The pancakes with berry compote were epic, the egg and bacon rolls and the perfectly cooked eggs and side of mushrooms delicious. It is a small and friendly cafe with things to browse such as honey, coffee, coffee cups, chocolate coated blueberries and coffee beans. The sourdough bread delivered fresh was perfect. They also have a small counter top area where there are muffins, cakes, friends and banana bread if you're in the mood for a small snack with coffee, tea or even a chai.

Food was delicious, though small portion size for the price. We had the Laksa and Spanish baked eggs specials. Service seemed disjointed, my partner waited near the door to be greeted or told how service works by passing staff member without success. I had to go to the counter to find out its almost all self-service. All water glasses were cheap plastic and dirty. One water carafe had floaties. Decoration and design is nice. They have a dog water bowl outside, very considerate.
