Bundanoon Motel — Hotel in Bundanoon

Looks nice upon arrival but we were let down by the room and service. The room had a queen sized mattress on a double bed base, which meant neither my wife or I slept well as the mattress was not properly supported. The owner took days to respond to our complaint about this and, when he did, said it was our fault we weren't comfortable, blamed another guest for having damaged the original mattress in the first place, and told us to stay somewhere else next time. Clearly the idyllic surrounds and relaxed pace of country living are not working well for this rude, unpleasant man. Stayed Friday & Saturday first impression nice, clean, very spacious. Staff very friendly and loved the area, great location to lots of things in this area, this was great. Only one problem was the frequent train runs and their whistles plus the very thin walls, could hear everything next door. No matter what place you stay in Bundanoon I think you would here the train as the train runs through main part of Bundanoon.
