We had dinner there on Wednesday night. The food was quite nice although one of our dishes was very hot (spicey), possible having an indication next to dishes of hot hot they are would help customers choose better. The serving sizes were quite generous and our orders came out quickly. The service or lack of it let this fabulous little restaurant down though. I feel this may have been due to some of the staff being young inexperienced and shy, no doubt this will improve as they gain experience. In the mean time I think its important for the wait staff to realise that they need to look after the customers that are there especially when those customers keep making eye contact with them, rather than constantly working straight past customers to clear every empty table in the place. Yes clear one or two as a matter of being ready for new customers but just as important look after your current customers. We felt ignored many times and they lost the opportunity to sell us both more drinks. But as above I believe this will improve with experience. The atmosphere was OK at best. They had two large groups which were both in the middle of the dining room rather than at one end, it made for a very noisy night where it was hard to have a conversation. I would recommend this tasty little restaurant but maybe choose a night that is...
Read moreWe dined here about a year ago (4 people), and since then I believe the mangement/ownership has changed - whilst the food and service was good a year ago, there were problems then with the very badly soiled state of the chairs/cleanliness that kept that review at 3 stars - this time there were 10 in our party (July 2025) and thankfully the seating/etc was corrected and cleaned... The food again was quite good, and the high quality of service and hospitality of the new 'owner' Axe (?) and staff, was greately appreciated. We had one of their banquet menus ($42.90 p/h) for ease of ordering and service, and were mostly happy with the quality and quantity of the dishes served (though as a few mentioned possibly a little lite on the central/important ingredients per dish/serving - chicken, meat and seafood etc), but overall an enjoyable and...

My family and I used to stop at the Jack Thai in Bowral all the time when I was a little girl. We were absolutely devastated upon finding out it had closed down. Until… I did a little research and found this place!
It had all the best things from when I was little and the staff made sure to keep the wonderful memories alive! The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. Highly recommend the saffron rice and the satay chicken sticks, so yum. Crying tiger was also really good, and must get the classics i.e. money bags and spring rolls with prawn.
The place has been taken over by new owners who were just wonderful. They are still settling in so allow extra time for food service.
If you’re on a road trip or simply in the area I highly recommend going in and...
