I don't know where to start from. The location in itself it's not too bad and at first glance it seems like a nice place where to stay. Emphasis on "at first glance", because the fairytale stops right there. As soon as you check in and get to your room you realise you booked a room in a former hostel, whilst I'm not against it, I'd also like the advertising being a lot clearer. Despite the rooms being private, everything else is communal, including the bathrooms and the showers. I understand the practicality of having wet rooms for bathroom, theres basically no distinction between shower, toilet and sink/vanity. No mirror or half decent sink as these are accessible bathrooms, I keep calling them that for lack of better words. The advantage of a private room ends there as soon as you take aside the blanket you discover yellow stains of dubious origin, the presentation is fantastic, seems like just out an interior decorator's magazine, but the yellow stains leave little to imagination. And let's not mention the hair. I think I'll wrap it up saying just that I'm not gonna be staying...
Read moreI had a pleasant stay in an ensuite room that came with all the standard amenities. The addition of Nespresso pods was a thoughtful touch that I appreciated. However, one drawback was the frequent noise from door slamming by other guests, which disrupted the otherwise quiet atmosphere.
The room had a TV, but it wasn’t connected to an aerial, so there were no channels available. Despite trying to tune the stations, I couldn’t get anything to work. This was a bit disappointing, as I expected at least basic channels to be accessible.
Power point access near the bed was inconvenient. One outlet was behind the bed, requiring me to move it to plug in my devices, while the other was located on the far side of the fridge, which wasn’t practical.
On the positive side, the hotel is just a 20-minute drive from the Pinnacles, making it a convenient option for a short stay in the area. While there were a few minor inconveniences, the location and thoughtful amenities made it a decent place to...
Read moreI don't often leave reviews but upon checkout this morning the thought came to me that I should leave a review on this occasion in the hope that someone on the fence about where to stay in Cervantes would be assisted by this. We stayed in the deluxe ensuite room and checking was made extremely easy with the proficient Liz. The room was a home away from home, clean, comfortable, had a wonderful view of the surrounding bushland and even kangaroos popped out to eat at dusk. Just a super close walk to the beach for sunset. Kitchen facilities available and all this made for a really nice time and some precious memories made. I would stay again if I was ever in this special area again. There is a lot to explore around the town as well! I liked the vibe of the place. Left feeling a deep peace and gratitude for the experience....
