Cervantes Pinnacles Motel near Pinnacles Visited on 27/5/2022 There are not many accommodations to choose from around the Pinnacles. It is Close to the a local general store, post office, fish nd chip shop, etc. Do not confuse the resort with the motel. The carpark is unsealed, but it should not present a problem. Although the dividing walls between each unit is brick, do keep the noise down, because it can here conversation from the next unit neighbour. The room is reasonably large, has a double and single bed. Like what several viewers wrote, it is rather dated, and basin needs to be sealed to avoid further leakage damaged to the chipboard cabinet. The room can do with bit of colour, it is dull and lacks vibrance! The staff are friendly; I suppose it is always a two-way traffic. Other families are good, including a swimming pool.I am reliable children ,ove the pool. The motel can hold a 300 guest-function. The number is just the population of the township. However, the population swells during summer when tourists vust Western Australia while wide flowers bloom.

Nice and a really big place, the people that work here was nice, they let us check out later and that was really nice, the restaurant in it was nice, the town have just one “convenient store” in the corner of the motel, in a walking distance (bring fruit, milk, cheese, bread etc for you if you bring kids, the shop was expensive with no prices on the products and not much in it) , have a nice skate park In front, and if you call the motel to book, you can get a better price than the one that shows on the internet, the rooms have everything you need like towels, hair dryer, fridge, toaster, everything you’ll need in a kitchen, cups and glassware, iron/iron table, extra blankets, etc; the lake is just 3 min driving from here and it’s a must see, at the motel you can always park your car in front of your room and I love that.

A tired old motel in desperate need of a knock-down and rebuild. Seriously overpriced for what you get - like a stranger's pubic hair to greet you on the basin; a ye olde LCD TV that resets itself if you change channels too quickly; an *open* carton of milk in the fridge; the flaking cabinets; the dark shower recess and the chipped walls. Seriously, the place looks like it might have been used as one of the sets for 'My Name is Earl'. Gave it two stars - one for the car parking, and one for the location.

“Deeply disappointed — cleanliness and service issues not addressed”||I had stayed at this hotel two years ago and experienced cleanliness issues, including bed bugs. We were attending a special event in Cervantes, and due to the lack of accommodation available in this small town during school holidays, we decided to stay in this hotel again. Before returning this time, I sent a kind email explaining my previous experience and asking that our room be clean and well prepared. ||Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed to find that nothing had improved. Upon arrival, the room was far from clean — there was a bunch of hair in the shower, the fridge was turned off and full of mould, the microwave was dirty, and the dishes were unwashed. The room itself looked old and poorly maintained, which was disheartening considering we were staying for four nights. Most guests only stay there for one night and can do with a basic room, and I knew we had booked a basic motel room, which is fine, but I do not compromise on cleanliness: the room was simply not clean. The shower appeared untouched, and the bed covers gave the impression they hadn’t been laundered in quite some time. It made our stay feel very uncomfortable. ||Reception offered unsincere apologies, promised clean dishes but never followed through. Most disappointing of all, it was clear that my email prior to arrival — which I had sent in good faith — had been completely ignored. This experience left me feeling that the hotel simply does not care about guests or the basic standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The restaurant was also below expectations — we felt rushed to order, and I was uncomfortable witnessing staff speaking unkindly to some Asian customers, not to add that the food was also very average. ||Overall, a disappointing experience that shows a lack of professionalism and care. Reception and restaurant staff seem unable to demonstrate the most basic consideration toward their guests. This lack of care and attention was unacceptable. I would not recommend...

Was short staffed when we arrived around 5:30 pm, there was no one in the reception and had to wait few minutes for someone to show while we were really tired after a day full of driving and activities. Found out that the room enterance key cards are not working after checking in, again had to go back to reception twice. They sent someone finally to check and make sure, the guy confirmed that something is not right with the door. Again had to wait for few more minutes for the room to be replaced. A simple check in took us 15-20 minutes while we all were exhausted. Finally managed to get in the room, the room was really tiny with no room to move around or even a proper chair or canape to lean on. Wanted to take a shower to be a bit relaxed. The bath was good which was our only positive experience in this motel. After the shower, wanted to dry our hairs, but found out the blow dryer is not working. Later wanted to turn the tv on, but found out that remote control is out of battery and you need to be maximum a meter away from tv for the RC to work. Later wanted to have dinner, went to restaurant with all family, but been told that the entire restaurant is booked and there is no choice for us except for outdoor dining while we preferred to sit inside because of very windy weather and my little three months old daughter. Found a corner in the alfresco and ordering food, again been told that pizza is the only option and there is nothing else for us to choose from. Ordered some pizzas and drinks which thankfully weren't that bad. During the whole time we were in the alfresco dining, there was no one inside the restaurant except for one or two families. Lets make long story short, this resort reminded me the "A series of unfortunate events" tv series. And the worst part, they charged us $199 for a night stay which I think it doesn't really worth more than $99. This is definitely not an option for me if I decide to go to this area...
