It's not bad, food we ordered is ok, but could be great - though it would have been better if the roast pork I ordered wasn't smothered by too sticky sweet sauce as it empowered the separate nam sauce which was delicious. I did requested to have the sticky sauce to be separated, the waitress took notes and advised she would request it but pork arrived covered by the sauce. I even ordered steam rice, but because the thick sauce is too rich, you can't really use the separate nam sauce provided hence I didn't enjoyed the pork so much. The serves were generous though but I'd rather pay for quality than quantity. They were very friendly but we had to wait for a while until we were served. When we arrived we were asked if we booked, we said we tried, called and left a message but no one called back. The manager said sorry they are very busy. But there were only three tables being served when we got there and wasn't really packed. Regardless, restaurants should never say that they are busy when apologising. We saw one waitress walking back and forth cleaning, collecting dirty plates. Would be better if she walks around and ask if they were served. My partner had to go and order drinks direct and asked for the menu as we have been sitting around for a while and no one assisting us. Certainly there are rooms for improvement.

I don’t like doing bad reviews, but this is one of those times that I have to. We have just returned from a trip to Europe for a family member’s wedding, and while away, we kept saying how wonderful Australia is, how we have the best seafood and how cheap it is - well, compared to the Euro that is. But, this restaurant made us bite our tongues. It was so overpriced. Like, seriously, the Poke bowl cost $26/$27, then add $7 on top for prawns, chicken, halloumi or chorizo. I chose prawns and chorizo but there was no chorizo available tonight. So, just the prawns then. Okay. My meal arrived and I couldn’t believe that it was only 3 prawns! I even checked with the wait-staff to see if that was right . Yes. 3 prawns m’am. Without the prawns, the poke bowl had two large wedges of pumpkin that seem to have been boiled, along with some rocket, quinoa, pickled onion and avocado. Sadly, the prawns could well have been Vannamei prawns, but whatever, they didn’t taste like wild caught, or even Aussie farmed prawns. My meal was really disappointing. I felt very ripped-off and wouldn’t go back. On the other hand, my husband received a large chicken parmigiana which was nicely cooked.

Popped by here for dinner on our way to Jurien Bay, and loved the pub vibes that this place had to offer! There were four of us and we were hungry so we decided to "start" with the MEGA Seafood Platter. On the menu, they recommended it to be shared by 2 people, but when it came, it was definitely more than enough for the four of us! Generous servings, and the lobster was plump and meaty! Definitely bang for your buck! Safe to say our hunger was satisfied! They have other selections of food, and from what I saw around us, were also generous serving sizes. Recommend you popping by here if you're in the area to get your seafood fix or pub style food, as well as enjoy a nice drink or two! **Note**: dip the lobster meat with the Garlic Butter sauce that comes with the prawn 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳😙👌

Update: As expected the response was childish and unprofessional. Bit hard to make a complaint when staff do not seem to care anyway. We can see from other reviews this is not the first time these issues have been raised with you. Perhaps instead of arguing with customers about negative reviews, listen and do something about them. No, its not too late. Thats just lazy management and bad customer service to think it is too late to fix these issues. Nice decor and clean tables is all the positive comments I can give. The waitress that greeted us seemed like it was an effort to do so. We ordered our meals, which were a little overpriced. As we sat eating, my partner found hair and had to stop and pull it from his mouth, this was definitely from the meal he was served. I then noticed the person plating up in the kitchen wipe her nose with her fingers then immediately use her bare hands to place cooked food onto plates. We were instantly disgusted and went to pay so we could leave, with me having only eaten half my meal because of being put off. Not once were we asked if everything was ok or if we enjoyed our meal. We would have mentioned the issues if we had. But the waitress didn't seem to care, just wanted us out the door. Going on the childish and unprofessional responses to other negative reviews here, we expect that these issues will continue to go on. So we have decided to not return and recommend others to...

When we walked in there was a handful of tables. We were seated then left, we went up to the bar to find how to order as we were not advised, when and sat back down and were left, the glasses for water on the table but no water never arrived we went to the bar to get our own. We then waited until the kids started to crack it and still no service had to wave down staff then go over and get them and the attitude from the server was appaling and the eye rolling uncessary. She was very inpolite and disintressted just stood at the end of the table and didnt even ask us what we wanted to start the ordering process. Then eventually our drinks came but we had to go to the bar to get the kids juice boxes. We sat for another round of drinks had to go to the service area more then once to get the kids icecream... We sat for another round of drinks we end up getting from the bar next door and her service was the friendliest we had got all night. We end up leaving and our table still had the dirty plates. We were not impressed by the service staff they were disintrested and not friendly at all! We also had three power shortages during our visit. Food was good and the portion sizes were larger then normal when was amazing...
