Quest Sale — Hotel in Gippsland

This place is outstanding and I could not recommend it more. We stayed here for 3 nights with my family and I could not fault it. It is in the perfect location, walking distance to everything!! The rooms are super clean, I was a bit worried about travelling during the pandemic but oh my gosh, this place is so clean I feel very comfortable here. The cleaners here do such an amazing job, even the fold out bed that we were using for my child looked brand new. The cleaners take great care of everything here. Ive watched them during the day maintaining the pool and the BBQ area and the yard, cleaning spider webbs picking up rubbish doing the garden. They take pride in this place and it really shows. I've been to lots of places around Australia and this place honestly is in my top list places of palces. The BBQ area is great it has everything you need to cook a BBQ, big table outside in the grass to enjoy the weather. The rooms had a big dinner table plus dryer washing machine and even a clothes airer. I will be back here again and this time I will bring more family to join us. Thank you to the amazing staff for making my stay amazing and thank you to Kerry and the cleaners who worked through the holidays and do such an amazing job to make my visit from Melbourne one...

Staying in a apartment like room and comes with all the necessary utilities one would need including: Kitchen: Dish washing - sponge, liquid detergent, dish washing machine detergent cube, tea towels Toaster Kettle Microwave Oven Plates, pots, pan, utensils Refrigerator

Living Room: Medium size TCL andriod TV, probably 60" 4 seater dining table 1 x two seater couch, 1x one seater couch Long coffee table

Bathroom: Washing machine (Fisher&Paykel) - probably 6kg load, top loader Dryer - hotel will give you liquid detergent for it

Bedroom: King size bed with enough room for a little toss and turn Big cabinet with iron board and iron and some hangers Some drawers for small stuff 2 x night stand with enough room to plug your charging cable if you fiddle around a bit Window to see the side of the apartment since is on the ground floor.

The staff are friendly to speak with and considerate and uphold safety protocol during COVID. They even give you a bag of coffee or tea or sugar in a zip lock bag when you ask for some which is a great way to ensure handling small things with minimum contact.

Also, WiFi is good enough to get it in your room as I stay some places with bad WiFi signal.

Pros: Central location. Free parking. Local amenities accessible on foot or by car. Good blockout curtains/blinds. Okay beds. Easy check-in & check out.

Cons: Very dated, drab and and poor attention to detail. Grubby shower and bath. General cleaning standards very poor. Stains in various places i.e kitchen sink, on carpet and on bed linen. Toilet unclean. Used foil in oven. Greasy kitchenware. Strand of hair found on sofa and dining table. No restaurant/cafe on site, so no breakfast available. Snacks/light refreshments available in room at the bar, $4 for a small bar of chocolate! Daylight robbery! Awful smell of sewage coming from drain in master ensuite which is overbearing particularly at night when you're trying to sleep. Awful flat pillows not great if you like a firm support for your back. Although parking is free, it is unsecured - sign stating park at your own risk! Outdoor pool available - however does not look clean at all. Overpriced room for quality and issues...
