Bristol Hill Motor Inn — Hotel in Loddon Mallee

This motel is our go to when in Maryborough which is regularly. The rooms are consistently spotless, fresh and the beds most comfortable. The showers extra hot and plentiful , excellent air conditioning and heating with room sizes bigger all make for a relaxing stay . The location is excellent with clubs and shops easy walking distance . I am staying as a woman on my own currently and feel extremely safe here. But one most important aspect are the owners of Bristol Hill . In all my worldly travels I have never had such a welcome that is genuine, sincere and so very kind .The beautiful couple Warren and Gillian go out of their way to ensure that my comfort is a top priority at every visit .Many in the motel industry could learn a lot from their professionalism , it is outstanding . This trip only a four day stay to visit family in a local nursing home . I stayed at Bristol Hill 1 night for work. I don't do any accommodation bookings for my work trips around Victoria and my experience has been a bit of a mixed bag, however work definitely got it right with this pick. The room was cosy and clean and the service was so wonderful and friendly. I ate in their restaurant and will admit I initially didn't expect much from a motel restaurant- but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the meal was. Had I stayed a 2nd night I would have chosen to eat there again. It was such a busy day and beautiful night that I sat in their courtyard area, had a few wines and relaxed. Beautiful gem of a place in a really nice area. ||First time to Maryborough VIC. ||Lady at reception was lovely and very helpful. Room was gorgeous, restaurant and food was amazing. ||Very large servings, even the cheese/garlic bread starter haha so beware if you are on your own eating here you will definitely not go hungry. The food was lovely!||Only one "down side" was the fragrance oil with the sticks in a bottle. Way too overpowering. Had to put the bottle outside on the table & leave the door open for ages to get the perfume out of the room even a bit. Please have fragrance free venues, clean is a good smell on its own no need to make everything smell...
