Beaconsfield Lodge Motel — Hotel in Melbourne

you pay 150 a night for a room for a family of five. we got there and the room was so dirty that my wife had to clean it before even bring our family in to the room there is blood over the walls the shower doesn't stay hot it goes cold right away we didn't really have a choice to stay or go as madlyn for WAYYS in BERICK put us here that we had food and there is a room with a gas top cooking and we didn't get put in that room. but yet we had over 100 dollars worth of food and no way to cook it as we got put in a room with no stove top but then we get told last night that there was a room with a stove top now they want us to pay another 150 for another night for the room with the stove top. the shower door doesn't close and tiles are missing of the walls. don't get me wrong the owners are very nice people they have tired to help us as much as they could. this place need the health and safely office to come here and close this place down as...

Really good road trip accommodation. Priced just right, friendly service if you get there before 5pm they "save the planet" (they take cash) no fuss. ||Otherwise if your late just ring it through on the debit card and they will have a room ready for you whenever you get in. Nice people.||This place has the look and feel of a 60's/70's motel but modern inside. Smoking's OK outside on the seats & they've got the big ashtrays for you. Hottest high pressure shower in a large alcove as well, very relaxing.||TV's there and WiFi but these days its all on your phone right.||Just down the road there's a servo with the lowest priced petrol and pretty good quality staff made coffee machine coffee. A shopping centre & railway station & also a mitre ten hardware only minutes away. Also a tyre place if you've got a flat.||byo your carpet & a clothes rack and everything you would usually bring with you on a motoring holiday.||Will most definitely...

Cheap and cheerful. You don't stay here for the luxury.

But my room was clean and bright and the bed firm and comfortable. The heat pump works. The staff supplied an iron and ironing board on request. Both looked new.

I had asked for non-smoking and the room IS not-smoking, but the sort of person who stays here doesn't appear to take much notice as they had defaced the sign, changing it from "Thanks for not smoking" to "Thanks for lots of smoking". The room smells of cigarettes, but it's survivable.

The motel is behind a strip mall and thus avoids most of the Bogan-mobile engine clatter from the busy road nearby.

It's a short walk to Aldis and Woolworths. There is no way to cook in the room, but you can boil water in the kettle supplied and there is a toaster and small fridge that works.

The bathroom and toilet were bright and clean. No issues there.

It's worth every penny paid.... But not...
