I don’t ever write these without having understanding of the service industry but felt I needed to share this experience as it wasn’t just uber to blame here. Absolutely appalling service ordered over $90 of food at 6.30pm didn’t arrive until 8.30pm with wrong order, rang restaurant and driver was told driver was going back to collect the right meal. Waited another 15 mins mind you only live around the corner approximately 4 mins drive, would have collected myself but due to surgery can’t drive. I had visitors over and had to get them to drive and pick it up, guests requested a refund on my behalf, was told nothing they could do other than offer a packet of prawn crackers. Not only was this an insult but a complete embarrassment to me in front of my visitors I will never recommend, service was met with absolute rudeness and lack of compassion about the whole stuff up. Was referred back to Uber eats for a refund Ordered 3 main meals for $90. Not only did they not even call to state the Uber driver never arrived again to collect the correct order I had to call them and organise this to be picked up another 15 mins after I had called them to advise the driver collected the wrong meal. I was assured by the restaurant they would get this as a priority. From the previous and most recent reviews this restaurant has gone down hill with service and food was completely COLD! Will be sure to go to Officer Thai instead, was once a good place but you lost me after this incident, there are ways that you can handle complaints as a customer 100% and I think staff need more training on this matter. Read moreWe put in an order with this restaurant to be delivered by Uber Eats. When receiving the order we discovered we were missing a main meal. We phoned Chilli n Chive to request they arrange for the missing meal to be delivered and were told it is the responsibility of Uber Eats to check the meals and suggested we call Uber Eats for a refund. Seriously? How can they think this is acceptable to tell us it is Uber Eats fault? So as a customer we should expect Uber Eats drivers to go though our orders? Surely not! Obviously the restaurant does not check their orders before handing them over to Uber Eats drivers. We repeatedly requested they arrange to deliver the missing meal and were told we could pick it up. We paid a delivery fee yet they then tell us to come pick it up! This is the second time this has happened when ordering from Chilli n Chive. We stupidly thought it would be ok to order from them a second time. NEVER AGAIN will we order from this restaurant and strongly recommend no one wanting food delivered correctly order from them either unless they want to deal with missing meals and incompetent...

We were told it would be 45 minutes. We arrive to the restaurant at 6:20pm and it’s not ready. 2 hours pass since we called and it’s now 7:30pm . We were told that they got a ridiculous amount of Uber Eats orders which is fine but with so many in store orders, the Uber Eats orders should not be a priority. At 7:50pm we were told that our order was almost ready, by this point multiple people had received refunds and left the restaurant. At 8:40 (3 hours after ordering!) we were informed that our food was “accidentally given to someone else”. We received our refund and left straight away.
