Edit: to the manager that did reply. Breaking you reply to 3 points: 1: your staff refused to clear the table when asked, the other couple were not regulars and the place was half full!
2: she took out menus that we were holding. What I stated was accurate and not your half cast excuse
3: If your coffee is the best, then you should try it. It was shocking. Previously you stated it was Zest beans now itās a special blend! Stick to one story, your lies are shinning through
Have to say, this place is actually the worst place Iāve visited!
On arrival had to clear our table, had to bus the empty plates and cups to the counter and wipe it down. Two other groups had to do the same with their tables. Response from staff ādonāt have time for thatā
Anyway order was taken, waitress told us order food now or you will wait. We ordered drinks and said we still hadnāt decided on breakfast, but our menus were taken from us and she then left our table! Clearly wasnāt just a wait but we werenāt allowed to order breakfast at all. Wife went to the counter and ordered banana bread. Took 4 minutes!
Banana bread took 11 minutes to arrive Milkshake arrived after a 14 minute wait Cappuccino arrived after 17 minutes Still wasnāt able to place food order! By this stage I had no interest in spending money here anyway.
The wait time was far from appropriate or acceptable! Milkshake was average Cappuccino was horrible, weak strength, watery and lacked flavour. They apparently use beans from Zest, a company I have a subscription with. I have never had beans that were this horrible from Zest. Clearly itās a machine and barrister issue that should be addressed.
So you have to clean your own tables, not allowed to order food, horrible coffee. Best to completely avoid this place, plenty of other places nearby that are better.
As for the management that will reply, donāt bother. Iāve read your comments on every other post blaming everything else except the actual problem, that being your staff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreens & Grains impressed us with its creative vegetarian and vegan dishes and pleasant ambiance.
Food: We tried the Chilli Egg Scramble (Vegetarian) and the Bird's Nest Mushroom Medley. The Chilli Egg Scramble, served in a crispy potato rosti, was flavorful and well-spiced, while the Bird's Nest Mushroom Medley offered a delightful mix of wild mushrooms and creamy cauliflower puree in a crunchy potato nest. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented.
Drinks: We enjoyed a Latte and the Jungle Juice with our meals. The latte was rich and smooth, and the Jungle Juice was refreshing and vibrant, perfectly complementing our dishes.
Atmosphere and Service: The ambiance at Greens & Grains is warm and inviting, with a modern touch. However, the staff needed to be a bit more attentive, as they seemed a bit scattered at times. Despite this, they were friendly and ensured we had a pleasant dining experience.
Verdict: Greens & Grains is a fantastic spot for delicious and creative vegetarian and vegan dishes. The food is top-notch, the drinks are excellent, and the overall experience is enjoyable. With a bit more attentiveness from the staff, it would be perfect. Highly recommended for a satisfying and...
