Jade Princess — Restaurant in Melbourne

Tried Jade Princess takeaway for the first time tonight & were pleasantly surprised. High quality food. Tender, succulent meats and fresh selection of vegetables. Lovely favours in all dishes. Rice separated easily and was not clumpy like many other Chinese restaurants. This is going to be our regular go to place from now on! Update 10 months later: Sadly, the quality has begun to decline and the quality is now hit & miss so I've dropped a star off the review I initially gave. Spring rolls & prawn toast tend to be oily. Main meal meats are relatively bland because the sauces have not been absorbed by the meats. The meat is not as tender either so I suspect cheaper cuts are being used. Since moving to my current location I have been to jade Princess in Beaconsfield a few times and every time the food has been very good as has the service, only on one occasion the restaurant was extremely busy and that was mother's day 2023 and still the food was great ,, they are reasonably priced and have never had an issue,, it's sometimes hard to find a good Chinese restaurant, for instance Pakenham has a number of Chinese restaurants but there is only one maybe two that my family actually liked , were as jade princess in Beaconsfield has been consistent every time ,, would definitely recommend jade princess on princess hwy Beaconsfield,, nice food , good service, ...

Regular customer who won’t be returning after last episode. Rang at 6:45 and, after ordering, advised “ready soon”. No time - just hung up the phone. Was in restaurant at 7 and advised “2-3 minutes”. Saw food in bags beside register and assumed I had arrived early. 20 minutes later and one bag still there. Went to counter and asked what was happening. Staff member saw the bag and actually read my name and said here it is. I said I wasn’t going to take something that had been sitting there for more than 20 minutes.
