Nightcap at Coolaroo Hotel — Hotel in Melbourne

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! As motorcycle travellers we seek to find secure accommodation for our bikes in affordable settings. They immediately offered to secure our bikes in a special location for safety and discounted pricing booking direct. On arrival we were given 10% off meals and two free drinks!! The BWS attached had our favourite drinks on clearance prices which was incredible and they went out of their way to ensure we were looked after and could access our bikes when needed to leave in the morning. The room was above and beyond for the price and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. A brilliant air-conditioning system which you can adjust not set at one temperature like Mercure - my worst nightmare! Such friendly, kind and professional service. The cleaning lady even offered to help carry our motorcycle luggage. Just so kind. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels for work and I rate this establishment as THE BEST OF ALL for pricing, friendliness, personal treatment for special requests and inclusion of discounts!! So impressed. Will always stay here in future as close to family. I have stayed at other "Nightcaps" which were nothing like the excellence experienced with every interaction at Coolaroo. We stayed here for a sporting event and I was incredibly impressed by the staff. Every single person was friendly, kind and all went above and beyond to help their guests without question even if it wasn’t their job. You just don’t see this type of service anywhere these days. Not once were we left waiting for anything. We arrived late in the evening around 9pm and even the security guard stepped behind the reception desk to ensure he prepared our paperwork so the check in staff could continue on with it. From security, to bar staff to cleaners. Everyone was so friendly, caring, hard working and accommodating. Whilst we may not have a need to stay here on a regular basis, I would definitely hands down recommend it to anyone else. The rooms were incredibly clean, the facilities are great. You have everything you need in the venue. I’m just disappointed we didn’t get to try the food there. Great, clean...

We recently stay over the Easter Weekend for 3 nights, upon arrival was greated by friendly staff at checkin & being adjacent to the pub was a plus for ease of getting a drink and feed. Our family 2 bedroom apartment was huge and easily accomodated our family of two adults and 4 kids & even had courtyard area kids could run around & play. Was great to be able to cook in our room with a fully equipped kitching saving money of eating out. The location was perfect for a Melbourne stay as had family down the road and was central to motor wsys to get us to places we wanted to go. Will definitely be booking and staying here...
