Ringwood Motel — Hotel in Melbourne

I needed a place to stay for business in Ringwood for two nights. I looked on line and the rooms where $100 a night. I rang and the owner, Max, told me he would do a special deal for me. Too right they did, the receptionist who I can safely assume is his wife, charged me $110 a night, plus you have to pay $20 for the key deposit. When I told her it was only 100 a night on Expedia so they were only getting about $90 a night, I got told that my room was the best room and the big boss sets the price. What BS. And if my room was the best I'd hate to see the rest. It is also used a a homeless & domestic violence placement motel, which brings wth it all sorts of disturbances at night. As others have commented it just didn't feel safe at all, I went out to my car to retrieve a phone charger cord at about 1130pm and there was a couple dodgy looking blokes just driving through the car park in some old beat up car. (And I'm an ex copper of 26 years experience, so I know dodgy). No lighting outside either, perhaps not turned on to save a dime or two, but the front of the motel rooms and carpark is completely dark. Do not do it. Until it changes hands it will be a dive. Total refurbishment needed and change of management, that are not rude and dismissive. $110 no, $80 perhaps. ...

Hi all, Needed accommodation very quickly due to coming down from the country to visit my i'll grandmother in care. Susanne was very quick to give me a discount and provide me with a room.

My stay was sporadic due to the nature of my situation and I needed further nights, Susanne was very understanding of this and granted me extended days with ease.

Location is great for amenities, being a past resident in the area for a very long time, never once did I feel unsatisfied, eastern suburbs is a very beautiful place to be in.

Quiet at night and a lovely warm room with clean facilities, treated by staff with respect, and upon departure Susanne was very kind to wish myself and family with good blessings.

Will stay again if needed without hesitation!

never, EVER come here! I made the trip down from coober pedy to film some adult content with my late aunt, Mildred. I needed a place to stay, and Ringwood Motel seemed fit. How wrong I was. When I walked in my lacy lingerie, the male receptionist looked at my like I was a piece of meat! He said that I could stay in the private suite, and I quickly caught on to the double mirror in my bathroom. He watched me the whole time I stayed. The room itself was covered in black mold and blood stains, so I packed my things to leave. But I kid you not, the receptionist had put 4 wheellocks on my 2016 Corolla and had popped my tires. I had to thug out the next two nights, as rats crawled across my body at night. At least the breakfast was decent. This dump should be shut down...
