Woeful service - Cold food and a 45+ minute wait!! Do not recommend.

Friday night they were busy and had no system to manage this. I waited over 45 minutes for my order only for it to be cold. It was at the bottom of the pile of food and never was able to get to until it stopped being so busy. I asked for my cold order to be replaced, they said yep turned around with he bag to which i lost sight of it. They returned and said it was all ready to go. Nothing had been changed and everything was cold still. I said please replace the entire meal. Did the same thing and from what I could tell when opening the items in my car. They only replaced the chips, the mini box and burrito were cold. After this I gave up with the staff at the restaurant.

Contact customer service and they asked for a photo of the cold food... then they ghosted me.

** Response to your reply. I have already responded to your email asking for a photo of the cold food. Like I said I am waiting on you guys to respond. Maybe worth contacting your store and ask, they will know there were issues. At least 3 staff saw me waiting this long and asked for the replacement meals again and again. Seriously bad news, this GYG is our closest store at 20 minutes drive and after we place an order and we've driven out and driven back we open it up to find out that whole menu items have been missed, condiments like guacamole have got this smallest and stingiest servings, everything was salty, where we had asked for cheese to be removed from various items in the menu, find it is slathered on everything and that's just the start of it. The next part of this little tirade is try getting hold of someone at GYG Croydon or GYG anywhere no phone numbers, Facebook chat go so far as I'm aware, sorry send us an email - emails are not returned. GYG Croydon only sends your phone call to a full message bank and then hangs you up and the only other phone numbers you can find for GYG in Australia is there payroll centre in Sydney. I am left to question a food service company that hides all it's contact details all of its customer service details behind a singular email address. So GYG Croydon not worth the drive - avoid - and if you're in the area go to Eastland at least those guys can serve your food without salty aftertaste and give you the menu items that you asked for.

Just look at the photos - See if you can spot the meat in the tacos and the piddly amount of Guacamole in the burrito bowl. (note its spread out...

So, i can safety say, here you'll find the :

-Tastiest spicy cheese Fries 🧀🍟 -Banging breakfast burritos 🌯 -Superb veggie Nacho Fries 🥑🫑🍅🧀🍟 ,

Or Hit up the : Veggie bowls with brown rice to fill up on healthy real fresh cooked food.

And that's just the vegetarian options I've tried !

Drivethrough seems to provide the fastest freshest service, but there is plenty of seating inside with a nice vibe for the fam or crew to meet & eat.

But as always, ask it to be made fresh, if your happy to wait ✋️for those crispy Fries & hot burrios that south the soul & calm the savage stomach beast 😉🥇😋

Another tip , eat that food as quick as you get it , then it's fresher, hotter, tastier & soul lifting 🫴, why uber ? Just drive through & eat in the carpark ! Thats my trick !

Also, this place is mega popular, so there may be a wait in peak times, when a hundred people hit it in 10mins & all want food instantly. So, if your free, avoid the rush. Drive through / eat in & ask for it all cooked fresh & eat it as soon as you get it ! 😋 🥇👏🔥👍 Any issues with the food ?
