I stayed at Vibe Hotel for two nights recently as a little getaway for myself and had a wonderful time.

I booked directly with the hotel on their website which was simple and easy to use. I received an email confirmation and information about my stay before I arrived which was very helpful.

I chose the Good Vibes package which included a scrumptious breakfast each morning from St Marks Road Co. on the bottom floor, free parking in an off-site car park just behind the hotel and a complimentary bottle of wine.

I specifically booked my room for its incredible view of Southbank - it was well worth the extra cost. Floor to ceiling corner windows overlooking the Yarra, and long drop curtains for when I wanted privacy. You’ll find yourself just staring out the window in awe of the beauty of Melbourne.

The room itself was clean and spacious. The bedding was fresh and I felt comfortable. There was a mini bar filled with various drinks and snacks, tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean, equipped with a hair-dryer along with usual body soaps and shampoo products. I was very pleased with the presentation of the room.

As for other amenities, the building has a pool and gym but I did not use these during my stay. I believe there was also room service and dry cleaning but again, I did not use it during my stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Just a quick two minute walk from Flinders St Station makes the entire city accessible to you.

I believe the only downside is the noise of the trains below. This is obviously out of control of the hotel, so not much can be done. If you’re a light sleeper the trains and trams in the morning may irritate you. The noise didn’t bother me too much, its expected when staying in the city.

Finally, the staff were very friendly and very approachable during my stay! I felt safe, secure and welcome. Definitely will be back to Vibe Hotel - it was...

From the very beginning, everything went smoothly. The booking with Samita was absolutely perfect, and the check-in experience was also excellent. A very nice gentleman assisted me in the afternoon, and he was even training a lovely lady at the time he explained everything I needed to know in a professional and friendly way.

The location of the hotel is perfect, and my room had a beautiful view overlooking the river.

However, there are a few areas where the experience could improve: • The room could have been cleaner—there was noticeable dust in several places. • No slippers or bathrobes were provided, which would have been especially useful for using the heated indoor pool. • Some staff members appeared unfriendly, particularly when seeing guests going to the pool in just a towel when using the lift. A simple smile or greeting would go a long way. • Room service was not available in the afternoon after a long day of travel, and surprisingly it couldn’t be ordered between 6–9 pm, which is usually peak dinner time. Luckily, Uber Eats was an option.

Overall, the hotel has great potential, wonderful staff at the front desk, a fantastic location, and lovely views. With a little more attention to guest comfort and friendliness from all staff members, it could easily...
