Pros: The toilets are clean Staff is quick and very friendly (specially Shelby, Agustín and the French girl) Not so pricy Kitchen is well equipped and fridge is big enough Cons: The loudest hostel you can find (not only because of the bloody station, also people is so loud like sharing with 15 years old party full on, nonstop). And doors.. oh my god. Banging super loud 24/7. Long terms. They think they own the whole place. And there is no space for new people. Also making friends is not easy cause they're already in big groups. Not to mention that the ones in my room were frigging disrespectful, having a laugh and playing football inside the room at 1 am. They say they do deep cleaning on Wednesday but that's a lie. They don't. And my room was smelly and very messy (same, because of long terms). I think there should be a limit of time like others hostels do (2 months max f.e.) The WiFi is not good enough. Sometimes it disconnects and it works very slow. Showers need an improvement. Doors are bloody noisy and some of them don't even close. Some floors don't even have a toilet which I find insane. And sometimes common areas are so crowded and again, loud, very loud. I had a guy who threw up inside the room, on the door and on my suitcase and clothes. He didn't even care cause he was so drunk. He didn't even clean his mess. This is the kind of people you'll find here. If you are that sort of scourge then go for it. There is not enough shelves to storage your food. Too many people I guess. And some mommy's babies don't wash their staff. But nothing happens. In other hostels I've stayed they fine you or at least they give you a warning. If you don't expect to have a good sleep then stay here. Otherwise avoid it at all cost. Europa hostel is a better one and there is not much difference economically speaking. They have curtains so privacy is gold there and people's behaviour is different because of that (more mindful and respectful). Also there are some very old people sharing with all the teenagers (poor of them!) so I guess there is no age limits (I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing). Again, it's like there's not many rules in this hostel. Only "no visitors, no booze in the rooms and no smoke". The rest is called *do the f* you want*. Some people has cutlery and bowls, and mugs inside the rooms so guess what? there's not enough in the kitchen, of course. AND THEY EAT ON THEIR BED. Gross as. Again, housekeeping cleaned the room every day but they didn't remove the dirty crockery or tell the guest off. Anything! *Do the f* u want* I'm so glad to leave this place. Only booked for one week (the last 2 nights I stayed somewhere else because of everything I mentioned before so it was just 5 days of suffering) and I really can't understand how people can stay for 2 months. It's a nightmare. I would never come back here of course.

The rooms are really basic, and truly smelly. When we open the window a whole new world opened before us. The oxygen was literally different. We were at a 2 bed-room, but we can already see that the bigger rooms would be a lot worse. On a Friday night you can listen to the music downstairs (we were at the 7th floor, luckily, but even there). To be fair, on Saturday night it was quiet and we could rest properly. The hand dryers of the restrooms are a nightmare, because you can hear them from your bed (and we used earplugs, imagine). The mattress is certainly uncomfortable, and the pillow is not the best. I mean, you can sleep on it, but still… let’s not be hypocrite, for 28€/night is slightly fair. However, we saw the cleaning staff working, doing an actual great job in the restrooms, and corridors. So we believe the attitude of the guests is what decrease the general feeling of tidyness - Especially since the hostel only admits people from 18-35 years old. The common areas are a good side of this hostel, because they are cool and they do a lot of activities through the week. The best thing would be the café (photos attached). We had breakfast on a Saturday morning, which is probably the reason why it was empty, but it is so freaking cool! Besides, Bad Bunny as a BSO is a plus. We came afterwards for a coffee at noon and bathing the sun it’s such a delight! The laundry is big and functional. Overall, the ventilation is a room for improvement, as the hallways have different smells (11th floor-cigarette, 7th floor-sweat, 3rd floor-food and alcohol), even though in the morning the clean and you can smell the bleach. On another side, the staff has been thoughtful, friendly and efficient. To be honest, we booked it because in ‘Booking’ this hostel has 8,1 in reviews (not so fair, I believe, we would rate it at 6). But you should also check out the reviews here in Google Maps… this was our learning.

Friendly staffs with nice location. Went to solo trip and everything's good here. Also they do house keeping every morning around 11 and even sanitize the locker. They offer various events every day including free walking trip on cbd. There's no hair dryer so bring it with you. Or buy one from k-mart. I'm looking forward to stay next year again with my friend again. +it's only 30aud for a night so it's definitely not that comfy. I felt like I'm getting allergic due to dust while staying but it couldn't be better for a hostel which costs 30aud/night. Also there're rats on the reception floor and gets little loud on friday night coz theres something like party night every Friday so just go stay hotel if you wish it to be better.

Reviewing as a solo traveller. I stayed there for a week in a 4 beds females room.

Pros -reasonable price. -great location. its in like the central of the city. close to trams, flinders train station, woolworth, coles, etc. -friendly and helpful staffs. -no bedbugs. what a relief. i was super scared there were gonna be. -my room was small but the bed and smell were quite ok. didn’t smell bad inside. comfy and wasn’t cold during nights. the cleaners would come clean the room on every mondays.

Cons -slow lifts. -free wifi is sometimes slow around common areas. -always hear ppl talking loudly in french and spanish when they played pool. -a bit messy kitchen bc ppl are always cooking their whatever white ppls food. idk. -thin walls. you will always hear someone closing doors or talking in the hallway or outside of the building on friday nights. -free hair dyer is only on 11th floor bathroom, i had to go upstairs every morning. annoying. -a little hard to control water temperature when showering. it got too cold or too hot, no in between. -white girls use bathrooms and toilets like SUPER gross. i have no other words. they didn’t flush. there’s a chance lucky you will see poopie floating like peacefully. they threw toilet papers on the floor after using. some didn’t care to fold their sanitary pads. also didn’t care to sweep hair into drains after showering. Best and cleanest time to take a shower is around 9.00 am bc the cleaners would come clean the bathrooms around that time on every single days which was nice, otherwise i wouldn’t be able to stay.

No free breakfasts but i’m ok with that.

Best thing was that i had nice and friendly roommates that were always quiet and respectful to each other. its like heaven for an introvert. I had a pleasant stay bc of them although it was just a week. Amy, Brooke, Alex, whatever ur all doing, i wish you the best...
