Brezza Bella Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Newcastle-Maitland

Our recent stay at Breeza Bella was wonderful. Christine and Bob were so friendly and their hospitality was far beyond expectation; nothing was a bother. The Tuscan Suite on the lower level opened to an amazing garden outlook and the spacious interior was beautifully appointed throughout. Complimentary refreshments were provided on arrival and Christine's continental breakfast the following morning was a fabulous start to the day. Consisting of fruit juice, selection of cereals, beautiful freshly cut fruits, quality Greek yoghurt, warm croissants, preserves and pots of hot freshly brewed tea, breakfast certainly topped a wonderful stay. Located a short distance from the beach, shopping and restaurants were also found nearby. We wished we could have stayed longer but hoping for a future return to Breeza Bella. Location and room were sublime. 5/5. Just need to ensure you're white. Bit annoying that my wife and I were asked 3 times where we were from and how 'lucky' we were to be here as compared to where we were born. Other 1 star issues: sub-standard brekkie - cereal, fruit and a crossiant. Not exactly 'continental', simple eggs on toast would have been awesome; ground floor room is noisy due to poor construction (ask for the upstairs room instead); love the north facing frontage but with no block out blinds it's bright at 6am (don't mention this to the host as they expect you to be up and about by this time); musty/damp smell but you get used to it (not...

We were warmly welcomed as always by our delightful hosts Christine and Bob. It is such a pleasure to return to this beautiful B & B as the owners have a keen eye for the tiniest detail, Being a mere five minute walk to the beach makes it ideally placed. The breakfasts were delicious with a wondrous fruit platter which in itself is a work of art! Fresh croissants, orange juice and brewed coffee made for a perfect start to each busy day. Really look forward to returning and recommend this tranquil B & B to everyone. Thank you again...
