Terrible service. I use to go to Blue Door all the time as i live a few mins walk away. Over the many years ive been a customer, the service has gone completely downhill. Today i ordered a coffee through the app which they promote to use. 10mins later no coffee. I can see its quite busy so i wait until 20mins. I received the text to say its ready, but no coffee. I asked the girl making the coffees if she had one for Chloe. She said it would be a bit of a wait as they are busy. I said ive waited 20mins already and i got a text to say it was ready. She said she would make it. Another 10mins went by & still no coffee as i watch all the people who came after me get theres. I asked one of them how long they waited, in which they replied âabout 10mins, i ordered through the appâ. InterestingâŠ. I approached the counter again and said its now been 30mins for a coffee, and the girl very abruptly asked me what i ordered. It was made it a couple of mins and i got a reluctant sorry, thats it. This is what Blue Door has come to. Very sad as i love it down there on the beach. I wouldn't be writing this review if it was just the once. Their service is not good. Something needs to change.
Update 6th Aug: I've spoken with Blue Door management who were apologetic & lovely. They assured me they would be taking on my feedback and addressing the issues. I've been back a couple of times since and today i was pleasantly surprised to see smiling faces behind the counter & a friendly disposition when i spoke to the staff about not receiving a text message to say my food was ready. I ordered a cocowhip very berry that was specified to have mixed berry coulis and the cocowhip its self.
I waited 15 minutes for it, granted it was busy so I didn't mind.
When I recieved my order it was cocowhip and a tablespoon of frozen blueberries. Dissapointing to say the least for $11
When I approached the counter to ask if this was created correctly I was looked at like I was inconveniencing them.
The excuse I got when I asked why it was only blueberries was fobed off by a answer of "yeah we only have blueberries now" When I asked why the berries were frozen she quickly brushed it off with " we keep them in the freezer"
When I suggested that the product didn't meet the description and that it should be changed- I was treated insignificantly with out an apology or any explanation and a "go away' attitude
Honestly this person shouldn't be in customer service. I felt that as a customer spending my hard earned money here was treated with disrespect and disregard.
I'm giving their customer service score a big fat ZERO.
False advertising and a money grab type of place it seems like.

I donât mind waiting in the queue, it was a busy time of day after all. The girl at the checkout said: âoh you just have to wait, itâll be called out.â However, I enquired about how long it will be. So she asked for my order name and realised my order hadnât come through. For some reason another girl came to speak to me. She said, we can make one for you now. Itâs a breakfast burrito. Ok, sure, Iâll just wait a little longer then⊠12:35, still my name hadnât been called. So I went back up and the girl clearly forgot about my order entirely, but again gestured it was coming up.
