Bluewater Point Resort — Hotel in Sunshine Coast Regional

We had a great time here. The apartment was clean, the equipment all worked. The view was great. The pool area is lovely. It's in a really good position, minutes by car into the heart of Mooloolaba, or stroll down to the major shopping centre. Facilities at Bluewater Point are really good - and the staff were pleasant and smiled!

(There is a great Indian restaurant called Rasoi just around the corner (turn right out of the complex and walk to the lights, then walk down the side street - Jessica Ave, and its only 150 metres or so. Or stroll around to the side street via the boardwalk and you practically come out on it). Avoid the Chinese restaurant Kawana Waters Chinese Takeaway in the Cartwright Centre, cnr Cartright and Nicklan Way- near the Red Rooster drive in entrance. Mostly clean. Cooking pots, cutlery, crockery, and mugs were dirty. The frying pan was unusable, food because incredivly stuck even with the use of oil in the pan. Everything used had to be handwashed prior. Kitchen cupboards were covered in a sticky residue from previous people cooking which collected dust in clumps. The family shower water streams sprayed all over the place, even out onto the bathroom all of when shower door was open.

Bedrooms were tidy. There were extra blankets in the wardrobes. However, if you're susceptible to the cold they may not be enough during the cooler months.

Central heating/cooling worked well enough to keep the place cool...

Booked a weekend at this 5 star resort apartment complex. We were in the 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds. Absolutely first class, furniture styled to a 5 star hotel feel, very comfortable beds, exceptionally appointed right down to Nespresso Coffee Maker, sound bar, very comfortable and elegant lounge just well appointed through out. The view is breathtaking for the location in the heart of Minyama with only a short walk to the local shopping plaza. The resort itself is immaculate and the check-in/out process seamless.
