Not coming back. Manager is lovely but within 10 mins of checkin they try and get you to attend a seminar for the wyndam group we were approached 3 times about it during our stay. We were on our honeymoon and were not interested in anything but spending our first night away together in 12 years.
Room smells musty and no flyscreens on door so can't air out. Sauna out of service which manager did change on their website however we booked in advance while it was still working so we were none the wiser.
Too much chlorine in spa, it bleached my husbands underwear and I got a rash, toilet runs after use. Parking is ridiculous its not allocated but we tried 14 times for undercover parking and were successful twice. The other parking on offer is gated but not secure as you can still walk in through one end and drive out through an automated gate.
T.V was great it is positioned under a kitchen bench so low that its hard to watch it and the remote didn't work properly. Room service cost extra and you are in charge of washing your own things while you are there.
With all good reviews we need to include the positive. The bed was really really comfortable and the spa in our room worked really well. It was quiet and we felt safe during our stay. The basics were supplied in the kitchenette and that was good because it was useful. The sachet of complimentary washing powder and tea and coffee were also a really nice touch. The manager did address my concerns via email which was also nice and because I actually really liked her it pains me to leave a negative review. Close to caloundra which is a stunning part of the coast.
We will not be staying again not what we would expect from the ramada but the area is really lovely surrounding the resort.
The best thing about this resort is the manager Benoni, she actually does care and is a genuine nice person. She was my favourite part of the stay. That is one thing the Ramada has done right. Sorry to leave this review but if you don't mind the listed things I...

On check out the next day, at around 10am, my husband forgotten all about the necklace, After 3 to 4 hours my husband notice he wasn't wearing his necklace, and realized left it at the room. He rang straight away, the reception said will have it check and will ring him back. Altogether did 4 calls, bec. no positive respond, so decided to drive back to the hotel to check it himself. Guest already checked in, given chance to check himself with staff. No necklace. Reported to the hotel manger and Wyndham customer support, asked to wait till Friday, which is today, Benoni, the hotel manager rang me, no necklace was found. This is so devastating!!! That necklace was a gift from me on our 2nd wedding anniversary 26 years ago, been hanging on my husband's neck all those time. It is so hard to accept that it just disappeared in a place where it was left inside that room 210. 2 or 3 hours after we checked out, and before the next guest checked in. We bought this Wyndham ownership, after so much pressure and promises that we will going to enjoy our years of holidaying. When my husband realized that he left it at the resort in that room , he wasn't that worry, bec. he thought, someday will surely find it and he'll have it back, with the support and trust the company has promised us. We are so dissapointed. But we're still hoping that we're going to have it back. This necklace has big impact on our marriage, so much...
Read moreStayed for my birthday and payed for a deluxe 1 bedroom apartment ocean view but was disappointed with the view. Apon checking in we realised the view of the car park and limited side view of the beach was not what we wanted and called reception to ask for another room or upgrade but could not accommodate us this was a Wednesday. So we were stuck with a street view of cars, looking over the top of a restaurant tarp and into the neighbours yard with no ocean view just a small beach view. Our room was also next to the undercover parking gate which was noisy opening and closing. So every morning we were awoken several times by screeching car tyres going in and out, the scaffolding from painters which the sign said only 2 days and the garbage truck. We also had a random knocking on our door at 4am. Also Apon checking in we were greated by Maria and told to have a free drink which she talked us into going to a club wyndham seminar with (no commitments) and we would receive a 2 bottles of wine and a $100 voucher for the Thai restaurant for just attending. We attended the 1 on 1 seminar as we were the only ones at a 12pm time slot spoken down to in a condisending manner saying we would be stupid not to get into this holiday club by Leanne which also thought she was a financial adviser. You have to pay $21,000 for 6,000 credits and on the spot pay a $3,000 deposit and once you sign in your stuck in for "life" far from a no commitment seminar. We were not asked how our stay was by reception as we checked out. After these experiences I have to say I will not be holidaying at any Wyndham hotels in future, as this has given us a bad vibe towards the company and the money hungry...
