Cafe Sisily is a hidden gem that embodies the essence of a perfect cafe experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and cozy ambiance that instantly put me at ease. Nestled in a quaint corner of the city, this cafe offers much more than just a cup of coffee—it provides a complete sensory delight.

The menu at Cafe Sisily is a gastronomic adventure. With a wide array of options ranging from delectable pastries to savory bites, there's something to satisfy every palate. I highly recommend starting your visit with their famous freshly brewed coffee. The rich aroma and smooth flavor will transport you to coffee heaven. For a light snack, their croissants are buttery, flaky perfection. If you're craving something heartier, their gourmet sandwiches and salads are a delightful choice.

One thing that sets Cafe Sisily apart is their attention to detail. The presentation of each dish is a work of art, and you can tell that the chefs take great pride in their creations. The ingredients used are always fresh and of the highest quality, resulting in flavors that burst with every bite. Whether you're a fan of traditional favorites or looking for a unique culinary experience, Cafe Sisily has something for everyone.

The staff at Cafe Sisily are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They take the time to make recommendations and provide personalized service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a valued guest. The cafe itself is tastefully decorated, with cozy seating areas and an abundance of natural light, making it the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a moment of solitude.

One of my favorite aspects of Cafe Sisily is their commitment to sustainability. They use eco-friendly packaging and prioritize locally sourced ingredients, supporting the community and reducing their environmental footprint. It's refreshing to see a business that cares about more than just profit, and their dedication to responsible practices is truly commendable.

Overall, Cafe Sisily is a must-visit destination for any coffee and food lover. The combination of outstanding flavors, charming ambiance, and impeccable service makes it a standout in the bustling cafe scene. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, make sure to add Cafe Sisily to your list. Your taste buds...

Has this place been sold?

Being Italian, everyone told me I just had to go and visit this cafe. What a disappointment. Nobody seemed to be in charge and other than the barista at the coffee machine, no one seemed to know what they were doing.

This can not be the same cafe that others have raved about and carries so many positive reviews. I know staffing in hospitality is tough right now, but there were four staff to serve not that many people. We stood there for ages totally ignored by everyone frantically running around behind the counter doing their best to avoid eye contact. First rule of customer service is acknowledge the customer, with a smile or a simple "won't be long", even if you're busy. It was awkward and just weird.

We were about to leave when a girl reluctantly looked up and said "what can I get?" to which I really wanted to reply; "Well you could start with some training." I held my tongue. However, by now, having picked up the general chaotic and unpleasant vibe of the cafe, we decided to just get out of there. Plus, the canolli looked a bit soggy and everything looked a bit half-hearted.

I can only conclude that the cafe has been sold or under...

Made in-house

Cake: Cakes are mostly moose-based. Simple but good variety of cannoli and great selection of basic pastries.

Savoury: Not many savoury dishes, they used to have amazing filled baguettes but now doing paninis. I miss the baguettes though.

Service is friendly. Not the best in the world. Somewhat familiar about some products but could be greatly improved.

Square payment machine is always touch-and-go regarding making payment, a bit frustrating when you go there often and/or there is a line behind you. I usually wouldn't come here if I am in a rush to pick something up for lunch for this reason, or that there is usually a line depending on the time of day you come.

Can be difficult to find a table but that's reasonable considering the size, location and busyness.

I am looking forward to our booking at their...

If you are looking for a perfect sweet dessert, panini, sweet or savoury croissant, and a good coffee, Sicily Cafe has it all. Depending on the time of day, enjoy sipping your coffee under an umbrella, amongst the greenery street side, watching the world go by, or inside the well lit cafe front or back area. This little italian cafe also has a takeaway window facing the main street. The unisex / disabled toilet also has a baby change table. Parking is on the street or in the little car parks a short walk away. The staff are friendly, and the woman on the register was flat chat, yet managed to have a genuine smile. ✔️👏

For a great little experience on pastries and cannolis check out this cafe at golden beach. With indoor and outdoor seating, there is a simple selection here of pastries and delights to try and lovely coffee. Here we had a vanilla cannoli and an Italian croissant - which came with prosciutto and mozzarella which was lovely and something different! Check it out if you want a sample and takeaways to enjoy down by the park on the beach or passage! Adding some more from another visit after enjoying a savoury large roll- delicious!

I visited this cafe multiple times last year whilst visiting my son. One of my favourite places. Lovely coffee, toasted panini and cannoli. I returned this year and was disappointed to find that on two occasions there were no sandwiches and bare cabinets at 12:00hrs, despite being advertised as open until 3pm. Appeared to be lots of staff on both occasions but nothing to serve. After my second lunchtime walk down from Caloundra I have given up. Something is amiss here. Such a shame.
