The Crowne Plaza Hawksebury Valley Is by far the Best Hotel That I have Stayed at in 25 years of traveling the world. The Staff is what made this stay. From the general manager all the way to the Grounds keeper, Everyone was Friendly, kind and will always speak to you when you encounter any of them through out the Facility. From the moment I arrived in the middle of the night until the time I left, the staff made the stay. Thank you Front desk Staff, You guys are the Face of the Crowne Plaza, and it is always nice to have people as professional, and personable working the front desk to come in to the establishment, and have a conversation, and a laugh with. These are the people you want to ask all the questions, to be able to find places to go and things to see, and if they don't know they will find out for you.. You guys rock! Thank you so very much. Breakfast Staff is great every morning. Every morning I always was greeted by almost all of them. They made me feel welcome even though I kept some pretty crazy hours while I was staying. Bar Staff. Your guys were on top of it even though it got pretty busy at times while I was here. They always made sure that we were satisfied with everything, every time. House Keeping. This team was very understanding, and was able to work with me with a crazy schedule, and always made sure there was not anything that I needed while I was there. They just like the rest of this staff deserve to be recognized. Kitchen Staff. from the Chef to the runners, they put their heart in to making the dining experience memorable. From the menu to the settings. Great... Chef, good work on the food. It is well planned, and really good. P.S. the Steak should go on the Menu. It was Awesome. The Management Team. The Management team is Phenomenal. All great teams have great leadership. I do tip my hat to you guys because you have a great team to lead, and they are, doing great things from everything that I have seen from the Customer stand point for the past 50 Days. Keep up the good work and make sure everyone gets a Pat on the back, and a great job. The impression that I retained from all encounters with everyone is, I feel that I was treated more like family than a customer, and this by far is the best experience that I have had, ever, when staying away from home. Read moreFrom the very first phone call, and email to enquire about our wedding options, Both Nicole and Haylie were so supportive and accomodating to our numerous questions, and queries.
The replies and cross communication was seamless, and ability to be flexible was appreciated.
On the day of the wedding everyone was so calm, and navigated all of the suppliers with ease. The team assisted all of our families and guests, and made sure we allhad every opportunity to make sure my vision of the lawn ceremony came to life.
All of our guests and family commented on what a beautiful location the venue was. How impressed they were with their accomodation, and how immaculate the grounds were.
Some one my favourite comments came from my suppliers who made mention of how lovely the team were to work beside. I’d like to make a special mention too, to the representative at reception who took a call from our cake maker who had called to make sure the cake was delivered ok. They made effort to go and video our cake and send it to her to show her it was all ok. The supplier was so impressed with this level of service- and when she told me I was even more thankful!
The service from all areas of the property was so professional and welcoming. Nothing was ever an issue, and always followed up on if we did need anything.
The food was a huge hit! The guests spoke highly of their meals, and especially enjoyed the steak bites at entree. Huge hit! A big thank you, and job we’ll done to the culinary and chefs behind the scene :)
The breakfast set up on the Sunday was beautiful, and a really great way for us to say a hello and goodbye to our guests without rushing. The service at breakfast was again fantastic, with coffee orders on arrival and served in great timing.
Everything across the weekend, and last 5 weeks of preparation has been floor-less and truly appreciated from myself, and my entire family. Everyone’s experience was faultless across the entire weekend.
I thank you all, and your teams working behind the scenes who made our weekend, and special day one to absolutely remember. And highly recommend!

Read moreLocation: Close enough to Sydney for a short weekend away. The location is not too far from the local shops so if you do need to go wonder around it is possible without spending too much time on the road. That been said the grounds of this venue is so beautifully kept and offers the calm and quiet atmosphere to feel relaxed and ready to jump back to the rat race. Despite the hot/stormy/hot weather we had a lovely time walking around. Staff: Top notch service. I have to say one of the friendliest bunch of hospitality staff I’ve come across from start to the finish of our stay. Thank you! Cleanliness: Our room/bathroom and beds were clean. Minimalistic and nicely set up. Hallways and walkways were were aged but clean enough. However the pillow cases were not ironed or pressed and looked crushed and weary from the washing. Might sound like a first world problem but you’d want the bedding to be inviting when you walk into a hotel room. Beds and pillows were ok for a night but could be more comfortable. Dining: We had dinner at the Harvest restaurant. The waiting staff was a delight. But unfortunately our protein was overcooked and it took a while to deliver between the courses of the dinner. For a 3 course meal that charged $100 pp, we left a bit disappointed. Bar food was very average but I liked the atmosphere of the bar. Breakfast was very average. The hot food was good and the omelette was nice. Unfortunately the coffee was a let down and pastries were not fresh. Overall I’d say the management should look into improving the quality of the dining experience of the guests and perhaps have better quality bedding...
