Comfort Inn Towradgi Beach — Hotel in Wollongong City Council

I found the staff at Towradgi Beach Hotel fantastic and easy to get along with even when asking to look at a room before booking. Arriving at reception at the right time and checking in was easy as well. The room was of clean conditions and was to my expectation. However when walking to the bistro and ordering food there was an issue with the subcontracted security. As it was near closing time of the bistro once I had ordered my dinner and sat down at a table was instantly requested to leave the area immediately without food as they were closing the area in the next 10 minutes. There were no people skills or negotiation involved and I believe physical coercion was next to be used by security. Fortunately dinner arrived and we were escorted to the outside area and it was a caller winter evening and we decided to eat our dinner in the room. Upon arriving at the exit to security guards stated we could not take our dinner to the room and that we had to eat it there. I mentioned that I was a guest staying at the hotel and was going directly to our room and proceeded to leave upon which the remark of do not come back was mentioned. I felt degraded and treated like a school child and it took the edge off enjoying a great night at the hotel and motel. The room was not ready so they told us to give them half an hour and would come and tell us when it was ready they came and gave us the keys and said the room was now ready, only to find no one had been near the room. It was ready narly an hour later we were getting ready for a wedding that night at 11 pm after being dropped of by a friend my keys didnt work a mann 2 doors up offered to ring office a man came over with the master key this also didnt work he went back to the main hotel to get another key it didnt work a third key not working he rang a manager a lady she sad on loud speaker I cant do anything on giggling the third key a lot the door opened. The young man said go up to the office in the morning and tell them whats happened as this took just under an hour. We did the next morning to a very abrupt lady who sad she was the one on the phone the previous night in the end after being rude she said have a bottle of wine for the inconvenience going along the shelves she said abruptly whats on special this week choosing this one. I’m literally lying in our bed at 7.30 am listening to the man in the room nexts door conversation on his phone, it’s like he is in our room. Our night started of well the room was clean and comfortable and it looked like the bathroom had been recently renovated. We were waiting in our room and then heard a breaking sound, looked out our door and some kid had thrown a tea cup out from the kids area onto the driveway. Once we went to the restaurant we enjoyed out meal the pizza was amazing, if you could ignore the children running around the establishment you would have a good night.back in our room ur shower was amazing.
