Partner and I went for brunch at 10orio restaurant in Towradgi Ordered chicken pork adobo+brisket tapa and caramel latte coffee

Not very happy with the amount of time we waited for our food to be served. We waited for 40mins for our food to be served and to add onto that they forgot about the caramel latte coffee and when we ask one of the young boy server about what's happening with the caramel latte, he served us ice coffee which is not what we ordered. Waited for another 5mins to wait for the coffee. And I had to go to the counter to ask them about the caramel latte. Then the lady waitress served our coffee and basically told us. "If you're waiting for more than 20mins, you need to come and let us know". Like, for real? It's not my freaken job to do a less than 5mins coffee to make and not make a mistake of it. I didn't like the excuse that was made. 40mins to get our food served, on top of that you make a mistake of the coffee that is less than 5mins to make. Get real! Yes it's busy! But get your staff serving right!!

The waitresses were very slow with clearing tables too. Other customers that ordered after us their food were served before ours.

If you want to come to 10orio restaurant, be prepared to wait more than 30mins for your food to be serve and hope that they get the order right too.

Very disappointed with...

Honestly I had a high expectation coming to this place. It has good reviews and I was so excited to visit a Filo restaurant nearby Wollongong. However, I can't justify waiting 25 mins for coffee and 50 mins for breakfast. Beef tapa and longanisa were nice, but everything else in the dish was basic and unseasoned (tomatoes, eggs, spinach) Even the sinangag barely has the garlic taste in it.

I think a lot of things can be improved in the system, staffing, or maybe in the kitchen. Tables being numbered might be more helpful so the staff won't have to spend so much time looking around looking for the right table. Signs or instructions for customer might provide more clarity as in how the restaurant operates, e.g. cutleries & tap water - are they self-served or is the staff supposed to give them? Lastly, I understand how busy a restaurant could be, but notifying customers that there would be a wait is the least that you can do during the rush hours. Even me as a customer can feel how chaotic it was.

It's truly unfortunate as I think the place has a lot of potential. The staffs were also very lovely, but you can't keep your customers just by being friendly and cut corner on...

This is NOT a fast food resto! They cook your food as you order so please don’t expect Macca’s/Mcdonalds timeline :) (I was just reading an older comment and felt it was unfair to judge a resto like that.) This place is in a lovely quiet beach. Enjoy the amazing view! Perfect for satisfying your coffee and Filipino food cravings. We were on our way to see the Koalas and this was the perfect stop for breakfast. My mouth watered at the site of the menu but settled for the coffee, fries, soup and cake because Koalas are nocturnal and we wanted to see them before they start snoozing at midday. I wish I had time to enjoy the rest of the menu! Our food came out really quick and they were all yummy! I love love love the vibe, very friendly crew. I’m a tourist but I noticed the customers are mostly Australians/Locals with their group of friends and family, and they are quite familiar with the staff already. This says a lot of the Towradgi Beach Eatery because repeat customers means their food is worth coming back for over and over again. I hope tourists also discover this wonderful stopover. And yes, we saw the koalas awake at Simbio which is just 22 minutes...

We recently dined at this Filipino beachside restaurant, and while the experience had its highs, there’s definitely room for improvement. The highlight was undoubtedly the food’s flavor. The protein of the dishes we tried was delicious, authentic, and a true testament to the rich and vibrant Filipino cuisine. However, we faced some issues with the dining experience. The rice was unfortunately undercooked and watery, which was disappointing given it’s such a staple in Filipino meals. Additionally, the waiting time of 50 minutes was quite long, even for a busy beachside spot. It seems like there could be better organizational systems in place to ensure smoother service. Overall, the potential is there for this restaurant to be amazing. If they can iron out some of the service kinks and pay closer attention to details, it could easily become a go-to spot. For now, it’s worth a visit if you’re not in a rush and are craving a taste of Filipino flavors.

I didn't know much about Filipino food until I came here. This is one of my most frequented restaurants in the area, an excellent experience is guaranteed. The 'all day delights' on the menu come with exceptional sides: eggs, garlicky spinach, pickled cabbage, sprouts and a large serve of rice. These sides would make a fantastic meal by themselves, but each delight comes with a serve of delectable, perfectly cooked meat. The slow cooked brisket is a favourite of mine, but I've had most of these menu items and can't fault any of them. The coffee is just as good as the next place, and the service can't be beat. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for food, and it's usually less than 10. With marvellous ocean views and seating for all occasions, i don't think anything will stop me coming here many more times and sharing this gem with family and friends proudly.
