Poltehof — Hotel in Fiss

We had the most wonderful couple of days at the Poltehof. The family is so sweet and helpful, the breakfast is amazing and the hotel is perfect. The Hotel seems completely new with all the amenities one can ask for and very clean. A big locked storage room for bikes (or ski-equipment in the winter), an amazing spa area and a great self-service bar with lots of fun boardgames for families. The hotel even has a playroom for kids and it’s own little nearby petting-farm that can be visited whenever one wants. Kids can also try riding on the farm a couple of times a week. |The hotel is also close enough to the lifts, the bike-park and Fiss town.|The Super Summer Card that comes with the Hotel gives unlimited access to the lifts for the duration of the visit. Hiking and getting around in the whole area is therefore extremely easy, also getting to the summer-park with lots of activities is also very accessible. |All in all we could not have wished for more on an active holiday and hope to come back soon, both...

It's the only place open in Fiss during the summer, but we we so glad it was as both Fiss and Poltehof are chocolate-box experiences. We had a misunderstanding about advance deposits that wasn't clear on the booking site's paperwork so I'd advise you contact Potelhof direct as soon as you make the booking as she will give you all the details you need. Apart from that we couldn't find a fault. We had a warm welcome – and the children seemed really pleased to see us! The room was very generous in size, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Every part of the property was immaculate. They didn't know we were turning up on motorbikes and immediately offered us space in the garage (which was also immaculate!). Next door the cows were still in their barn and seemed equally friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and had a very good choice. There was even a cooked option eggs cooked to order.
