Bar und Restaurant Dorfstadl — Restaurant in Fiss

This is an okay restaurant. We ate here last night, reservations were necessary. They have a menu which you have to order a day ahead so you can reserve for the next day and have the special meal you want. Food was ok. I had the Hanchenbreat with some rice and a nice sauce. My wife had a gröstle of which we were not so fond of. The paptatoes weren’t as crispy as expected, should have baked a bit longer in my opinion. As a starter I had the garlic soup which was good. As mentioned in previous reviews beneath the restaurant is a bar and it’s allowed to smoke in public areas (which I truly despite) resulting in a nasty smoke odour. Wir kommen nun schon Jahrzehnte nach Fiss. Seit Eröffnung hatten wir das Dorfstadl immer besucht. Die Speisekarte ist nach wie vor sehr dünn. Das Ambiente ist toll. Der Service scheint sehr unter Stress zu stehen. Was wir aber noch nie erlebt haben war, dass Essen vergessen wurde und uns gesagt wurde es sei noch nicht ganz fertig (Schlutzkrapfen, welche vorbereitet) sind. Kann vorkommen. Allerdings war die Qualität und die Präsentation des Essens schlecht. 6 kleine Schlutzkrapfen, ein kleiner Krautsalat und das noch so als wären die Schlutzkrapfen von vor Tagen und nicht frisch zubereitet. Das ganze dann für stolze € 24,00. Wir sind immer gerne dort Essen gegangen, aber nicht nur im Dorfstadl, sondern im ganzen Ort und im ganzen Skigebiet sind die Preise der Gastronomie Astronomisch gestiegen und das bei Verkleinerung der Speisen. Man sollte, wenn man die Preise so arg nach oben treibt, zumindest die Qualität halten und nicht auch noch verringern. So kann und will sich das niemand mehr gönnen...
