This review is based upon a visit in the winter skiing season. Summer season experiences may vary.||||PROS (no particular order)||Modern decor & clean||All staff seem highly trained & attentive. Full marks to the 3 receptionists who are very polite, pleasant & efficient. Particular thanks to Alis for recommending Zauchensee.||Restaurant is modern with a good atmosphere and good lighting.||Good sized car park with some covered spaces.||Ski & boot storage is included at the Intersport by the StarJet lift.||Cups & glasses are provided in the rooms, and a small bottle of wine & fizzy water.||Shower gel provided.||Tap water is free in restaurant.||WiFi reception is good throughout.||Breakfast buffet is good, as is the evening buffet.||Excellent packed breakfast if leaving before restaurant opens. Best that we have ever experienced!||Cleaning staff very friendly & efficient.||Bus stop for Zauchensee Post Bus is only a few minutes walk.||Bio produce throughout.||||CONS (no particular order)||Most balconys are shared||Cupboard space a little limited||Wine in restaurant comparitively pricey (11 euros per 250ml, this compares to 7 in a previous hotel for the same wine). Beer is 4.90 Euros.||WiFi is not password protected, eventhough the literature states it is. Hence I treated this as untrusted and used mobile data most of the time.||||OTHER||A question I always ask - would I return ? Read moreWe had our reservation made via Booking. We payed our stay in advance and hotel sent a confirmation of payment. When we arrived they told us they don't see the payment but they will investigate it. After 3 days we wanted to check out, but they told us we didn't pay (even when they saw the confirmation in their Booking conversation and we provided the payment identification). Then they copied our credit card details while we payed for the drinks and they told us they will investigate it further and let us know. After we left they charged us again for the whole stay (that was already paid), even when we didn't agree to copy and use our card and they were blocking our money for a week.
