Just stayed at Hotel Ischgl for a skiing holiday and we had a wonderful time. The rooms were very nice and spacious with daily service.
We were half board and we really enjoyed the food, there was a great self service selection for breakfast and the freshly prepared options very tasty, we chose the omelette on quite a few days. The evening meals were superb, after making a choice of main course each day there was also a salad bar and soup. The main courses were beautifully prepared (the hotel clearly has a fantastic chef and kitchen staff) and we certainly have to mention the cheeseboard- a great selection of local cheese each evening !
All the staff at the hotel were super helpful, friendly and cheerful. Worth a particular mention are our main waitress Milla who gave great service in the restaurant and Gian on reception who gave us some great tips about where to ski.
Also - top tip, hire a ski locker from reception, it’s cheaper than others available and it was so convenient to be able to store skis, boots and other kit at the main lift station. Ischgl prohibits walking round in ski boots after 8pm (2,000 euro fine!) plus many bars don’t have ski storage outside their premises.
We’d highly recommend Hotel Ischgl and we’d certainly come back for a...

With great attentive staff serving makes it a highlight of any day. Read moreGreat location. 5 minute walk to the nearest gondola. The hotel is on the main road. There is noise from passing cars. Our room, twin room with balcony, was very spacious and comfortable. We very much liked service and friendly staff. The spa area is quite small. There are plenty of choices of free tea in it. There is also a machine serving water and free juice drinks. The hotel doesn't have a pool. Breakfasts were average. Buffet and on menu. The buffet was limited in options but enough to cover all needs. Menu included fried eggs, omelette, eggs benedict, porridge, and smoothies. After 4 pm, there was snack time: some hot meal, cakes/dessert, cheese. Dinner options you needed to choose at breakfast. Dinner dishes varied in terms of taste balance and flavours. Some of them were questionable. We were said a chief was experimenting with a new menu. Dessert was always spot on. Overall we had...
