In the hotel we stayed 8 days in late June 2015. The hotel is furnished in traditional Austrian style. Large room, with nice bathroom and a large balcony. On it are chairs and loungers. Web presented WI - FI only in common areas, but we worked well in the room. Half board consisted of a delicious buffet breakfast, not missing yogurt, dried fruit, delicious homemade marmalade. Dinner was 4 courses, sometimes you could not even amount to eat. The hotel is equipped with several saunas and 2 smaller pools with warm water, which we have in the past 4 days, very used. In the price at the Zell am See card with lots of benefits. Sigmund Thun Klammer, Krimell waterfalls, Museum of old cars Kaprun, boating on the lake, all lifts in the area, including cable car to Kitsteinhorn. Staff...
Read moreWe did not stay at this hotel, but had dinner in the restaurant after finding that it was rated #2 restaurant in Kaprun by Trip Advisor. The restaurant was excellent and staff most friendly. We visited the restaurant twice without booking in advance and they did all it took to arrange a table for us (6 adults and 3 kids).||We tried the garlic soup and various pans that they are famous for (Kaprun style pan, mixed grill and so on) and we enjoyed every bit of it. However, their wine collection is not the best one: the waiter did his best in convincing us to order the most expensive wine on the wine list (40 EUR a bottle), but we were quite disappointed about its quality.||All in all, a very good place to eat, very friendly and helpful staff with great food...
