Racist staff and poor quality food. All in all a disappointing and stressful experience.

Firstly, the boss turned us away with a rude attitude when we walked in without a reservation. We asked if we could sit at the bar (as we only wanted to eat something quick), and they agreed in the end. It’s understandable they would be fully booked on boxing day evening but the rudeness was totally unnecessary.

The restaurant served us the wrong dish. After a whole day of skiing we were just very hungry and would eat anything so didn’t realize the dish wasn’t the right one. The waiter who took our order saw the dish and shouted at us for eating something we didn’t order, and then angrily walked away as if nothing had happened. When he walked past again we asked him what is he going to do about the wrong dish? He said we could finish the dish and said he won’t charge us for more because they gave us a more expensive dish, but would expect that we give them a tip for it. He also told the story to his colleague in German in front of us and they both laughed - I guess they didn’t realize I (with an Asian looking face) understand German, and that happened right in front of us because we were sat at the bar where he worked.

We went there for kaiserschmarrn based on a local recommendation and were totally disappointed with the food (but more shockingly the service). The Kaiserschmarrn was already cold when served. The whole experience was stressful. We should have just left when they first turned us away saying they are...

We came in on Christmas evening for our Christmas dinner and had been before and liked it a lot. This time however.. things were different! Food was great as usual but never in my life have I ever been treated like this in a restaurant.. ESPECIALLY not on CHRISTMAS EVE! The waiter, TOMAS, is the rudest guy I have EVER MET and trust me .. that says a lot.. I studied hospitality but this guy does not have a hospitable hair on his head!! He disrespected my mom and threw a spoon on her plate when he asked for an extra spoon.. he argued with my brother.. I ordered a affigato my boyfriend asked for “The same” he told my boyfriend “TALK”.. My oh my, so so sad that this happened.. we are really really dissapointed and hope that they will take this feedback into consideration.. no one should be treated like this in a restaurant.. Tomas my friend, no matter what is happening in your life, it does NOT give you permission to act like this to guests.. very very unprofessional and rude.. We might come back , but we will make sure to check Tomas is not at work when we come! So yeah I recommend the place, food is good, atmosphere is great but...

the positives: great assortment on the menu. for every one there is something to choose. nice terrace. interior is a cozy style with lots accessories. the less positives: when sitting inside I hope you have shoe size 44 or less, those tables with wooden feet cross balk don't allow larger shoes between the chair and the table. not a comfortable sitting arrangement. the food: very salty and oily. the grilled herren spieß was so salty I needed 2 glasses of water to get rid of the taste. partly due to the speck in between. the grilled spieß was rather baked in oil than grilled on coal. the meat was, in general, overcooked and especially the beef part was more than well done. not recommended. the vegetable where tasty but again so salty, which goes for the fries, the patato as well. waiters behaved functional, we had made a reservation, but did not get the feeling we were actually welcome. so end verdict to a fine place to eat and drink if you don't mind salty/oily food. my personal opioning won't...
