This is more of a review on the town of Sölden...Great holiday :) loads of snow kids had a great time.town isn't that great as in there is one very long street that all shops are on.the ski lifts all look as good as new. we went skiing for 6 days and my daughter went snowboarding for the last 2 days for the first time and loved,she got lessons with Benni in the green ski school and thought he was great.there is an ice scating rink there and it's around €11 to rent skates and go on the rink for as long as you want,that was great but my kids warent the best so only stayed on the ice for a hour or so. We went Christmas week and snow,atmosphere and skiing was great.The hotel was amazing very quite,clean.The bathrooms in the room was amazing so clean and designed really well with lovely shower,sink,hairdryer,toilet,heated towel rail and towels. The bedroom has a tv (with a few English channels ITV etc) 2 single beds (in ours as we are friends), hidden safe,wardrobe,hangers and plenty space. Franz Riml is located in Solden, Austria, a very special ski resort with a picture perfect appearance. Our accommodation was special. The property is very modern yet has the right atmosphere for a ski lodge. The owner greeted us and was very helpful. We were given a large, almost new room. The furnishings, the bed, the flat screen television could not be faulted. A wonderful bathroom, a quiet room and free wifi. Parking was also free and no trouble. As it was off season breakfast was not available however that was not a problem as Solden has some nice places to have breakfast.||||We highly recommend the Franz Riml. Perfect location, quiet surroundings but close to the centre. Beautiful clean rooms, very well equipped bike/ski room. Beautiful view of the mountains. Excellent breakfast and last but not least very nice owners. Soelden is incredibly beautiful thanks to the mountains around. Bike, hike or ski in winter. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. I hope to return to Soelden soon and will definitely stay here. I was extremely satisfied.
