This place was an oasis on our trip through Europe from America. Philip spoke English well, was friendly, helped us through the menu effortlessly, and introduced us to ridiculously tasty and filling food. The food took a while to come out, but given how good everything tasted, I'm guessing it's because it's all fresh. Our family of four with two small kids ordered the BBQ platter for three. There was so much food, we had to leave some on the table. This killed me because it was so good. It shouldn't have gone to waste.
He told me everything they make there is homemade, and I believe it. I don't even like bread, but their bread was so soft I had to eat three pieces of it.
There was salt on the table, but I don't even know why because everything was perfectly seasoned. My kid dropped one of the succulent sausages on the floor, and a piece of me died seeing it go to waste.
One weird thing was a bunch of people from the back of the restaurant, which I never saw, kept coming out, way more than were going in. They must have been back there when we arrived.
Anyway, the ambiance was perfect. The food was perfect. Everything was perfect. I highly...
Read moreThis was the best meal I have had in a long time. My wife and I, who only speak English, went here based on other google recommendations. Wow were other people right. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. He was able to explain everything to us in perfect English. We started the meal with a shot of Rakija. It is a Serbian liquor apparently. We ordered the beef sticks for dinner (forget the correct name) and they were absolutely amazing. My wife got them with the sauce, and I would highly recommended that. The flavors are excellent and the portion sizes generous. We got a 5-piece and a 7-piece and could barely finish it. They also serve Stiegl beer which is one of my favorite lagers. If you are in the area, you should absolutely try this amazing restaurant. And the decor was great too. Very clean and...
Read moreBeing in Austria, why should you go to a Bosnian restaurant? Because Austrians are terrible cooks, and these Bosnians are first-class. Their meat was always tender, delicious, and tasted exactly like they say on the menu: "Papa's homemade food". They served nothing that was not wonderful, and when they learned that i was a chemistry student, they called someone from the nearby Faculty of Chemistry just to meet me. "Friendly" does not describe how nice they were, and the food was definitely the best i have had on this 35 days long trip through Europe. Don't ask questions, and...
