Concord International Hotel — Hotel in Bahrain Island

Check in was at 1400. We were sent away as we couldn't check in early, We returned at 1600 and the reception staff made us wait another hour as the cleanliness of the room was not up to their exacting standards, although, even with their attention to detail, they still manged to miss the huge excrement stain on one of the beds. The room was an apartment style with a seating area, and two double beds in the bedroom. Initial impressions indicate that 7 overweight men have wrestled for 10 hours straight with the air conditioning set to hot, nothing else could provide an overpowering aroma of that scent and magnitude The management have skilfully blended contemporary Arabic style furniture with outdated malfunctioning kitchen appliances and broken storage areas in the living space, giving the guest that well established " I couldn't care less" feeling so evident from the initial exchanges with reception. For those of you travelling without pets, management are on hand to provide company in the form of cockroaches in your bedroom and at no extra charge. Designers have really gone to town on the minimalist look, especially in the kitchen, which has been completely ripped out. Shower curtains are a thing of the past it seems, as the management seem concerned that receiving the mouse trump air conditioning whilst showering is more important than guest safety. Towels double up as curtains in the bathroom. I have never before been scared of simultaneously contracting AIDS from the towel, bedclothes, carpet and shower. This was truly a unique experience and best sampled after 14 pints of ale and copious amounts of whisky & cola. We decided not to brave the culinary facilities for fear of contracting D&V nor did we sample the delights of the swimming pool for fear of contracting exotic diseases. Guys I got scammed , I lost things , I slept with cockroaches and rats I got woke up with three cockroaches on my leg, I swear I would rather to go to haunted hotel and sleep with ghosts , but not in this hotel, manager is so so so so bad and only wants money, they don’t clean rooms and bathroom’s, they are not taking care of anything in this hotel , trust me you would rather to be in a garbage but not in this hotel. i did take allergy from the bed I got sick from this hotel . if you guys don’t want to trust me go and check...

Great location, nice host but dirty rooms filled with Cockroaches and no hot water. Ok for 1 night !

Liked · 1. Location is excellent with all shops, supermarket etc within 5 mins of walking distance. The Manama Bus Terminal & Ras Ruman Mosque are 1.5kms. Room size was huge, with large king size bed. Wifi worked very well, high speeds and no disconnection. After check out I was able to wait for a couple of hours in the lobby until my bus arrived. AC worked fine too, much needed for the hot weather. Low price rooms and you get exactly what you pay for !!
