OYO 124 Al Salam Palace Hotel — Hotel in Bahrain Island

Worst apartment I have ever stayed in. I booked through Booking.com (big mistake as payment was taken in advance, so I couldn’t cancel) and had to stay 3 horrible nights. No parking, and staff are rude and unprofessional (always smoking outside). Rooms are old, dirty, and poorly maintained. Bedsheets had stains, furniture broken, and cleanliness was terrible. TV doesn’t work, only an old VCR kept for show. Washroom smelled bad, water leaking everywhere. No basic amenities—no drinking water provided, fake facilities listed. Windows covered with cloth, broken AC, filthy kitchen.

This was a nightmare stay. Management should either renovate properly or shut this place down. I strongly do not recommend anyone to stay here—it’s a total waste of money and the worst experience I’ve had.

They don’t even deserve one star - I really wish someone can complaint about this hotel to Bahrain...

Nightmare. I don't even recommend anyone to come close. The hotel is full of parasites. Booking offers a low price and indicates that they have 3 stars. And they heal for the penalties of canceled armor. All the rubbish, the rooms are not cleaned, the air conditioners do not work!!! The elevator is not working!!! For the fact that the elevator does not work, you have to climb the stairs to see the room. And on the second floor there is a repair, dust everywhere and unbearable screams, noises of workers. and that's not all, after the inspection I didn't like it and took a new hotel. And they ordered the check-in and removed from the card for 2 days! I wrote to the support service and they just apologized and that's it. There were no refunds. As I said above, I do not even recommend...

I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The room I was given was in terrible condition—dirty bed sheets, visible insects, and an overall lack of cleanliness. This was a complete contrast to the nice photos shown online during booking.
