I stayed at Hotel Royale Bengal for three nights and had a mostly positive experience. The hotel is well-located, just a 3-minute walk from Karwan Bazar Metro Station, making it convenient for travel.

Rooms & Amenities

I booked a Deluxe Room for ৳4,900 per night, which included a buffet dinner. The room was neat and clean, with a decent size and comfortable bedding. However, the AC was weak, which could be an issue for those who prefer a cooler room. The washroom was clean, and basic amenities like toiletries and fresh towels were provided.

Breakfast & Bar

The buffet breakfast was a great addition, offering a variety of options. The hotel also has a bar with a nice ambiance and low-cost alcohol, though the drink selection was limited.

Service & Pricing

The staff were polite and professional, but the hotel’s high-end restaurant was overpriced. While the behavior of the restaurant staff was good, they seemed too money-focused. Another downside was that guests must clear their dues before night, which felt a bit inconvenient.

Reasonably priced hotel at a great location (right beside Bashundhara Shopping Center).

Pros: Service was fantastic- all the staff were very polite and friendly. The room was clean and had modern amenities. Bathroom was clean and had hot water on-demand.

Cons: The room was tiny, perhaps the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Very little space even for two people. I stayed in their “Executive Deluxe” room for reference.

Overall, I would stay here again if I am traveling alone, need to stay in that part of the city, and don’t care about the space...
