When I contacted the GoodHouse a day before the arrival, asking how we were supposed to check in, there was no answer. (Thankfully we did get an automated email through Booking with the check-in code on the day of the arrival). When we arrived, a little after 4PM (which is the chek-in time), we immediately noticed that there was no toilet paper in our bathroom, and none to be found in any of the cabinets. I called the GoodHouse and asked if we could get some. The woman was apologetic, and said she would contact the cleaners. When asked when we could expect to receive the toilet paper she said she would let me know after she called her cleaners. We did not hear back from her, and we did not get any toilet paper taht day. We had to collect our own toiler paper from the restaurants and venues we visited to get by. I sent the GoodHouse a message through WhatsApp that same evening. The next mornign there was still no answer, and still no toilet paper. After a second message in the morning we got an answer that we would receive more toilet paper "as soon as the housekeeper arrives". When I asked what time taht would be exactly, she never replied. And further inquiries about where to find a tea kettle/coffe machine (and thus the kitchen) were also not answered fully. I find it utterly ridicilous that an essential item, such as toilet paper, is not provided in a timely manner. Mistakes can happen, but you cannot let your guests go two days without toilet paper. And above all the communication with the hosts was very poor. Moreover, it did not look like the rooms and bathrooms were properly cleaned.
