The place is great, big open spaces and cozy family feeling at the same time. It's perfect if you are planning on going with a big group for a brunch, for instance. This is it for the advantages.

Food is average. A 20E brunch (excluding beverages), consists on a soup, 5 types of cheese, bread and and some marmalade / chocolate spread. Nothing remarkable about it. Only 3 brunch "formules", and they're all almost identical.

The service and the way they organize it, happens to be a big chaos. You get assigned a waiter, who doesn't seem to be able to cope with all the tables she/he needs to serve. Commands are forgotten (or just wrong) and waiting time is generally speaking long, even though there's really nothing to prepare.

I must say our waitress was at least kind, but that doesn't make up for the poor overall experience and food.

I would not advice this place for a lunch. I am definitely not...

La Tricoterie is a handy place to go with kids because the access is easy with a pram and there is an area where the kids can play. A small fee is required to access it which is a bit of a rip off given that the toys are falling apart and the babysitters are not very passionate about kids. It is still nice though that the kids can go somewhere. We ordered the kids menu for our son which was supposed to come with a hard boiled egg but it was undercooked. They brought a new egg but it was still undercooked which is pretty astonishing given the amount of eggs they serve in the place. For ourselves we ordered the eggs and bacon. The plate was nicely laid out and tasty. The waiting staff was friendly, in a good mood, and did there utmost to...

Nous souhaitons faire part de notre profonde déception et inquiétude suite à notre participation à l’atelier percussion pour bébés organisé à la Tricoterie le 20/04/2025.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été surpris de constater que la salle sentait fortement la bière, comme si une fête avait eu lieu la veille. Cela n’est pas du tout adapté à un atelier destiné à de jeunes enfants. Pire encore, quelques minutes après le début de l’activité, notre bébé s’est coincé un morceau de verre dans le doigt. Nous avons alors découvert plusieurs morceaux de verre coincés entre les carreaux du sol, signe évident que la salle n’avait pas été correctement nettoyée et ne respectait pas les normes de sécurité minimales attendues pour accueillir des enfants en bas âge.

Nous nous sommes immédiatement tournés vers les organisateurs, qui n’ont pas été en mesure de nous aider correctement : la trousse de premiers secours ne contenait même pas de pince à épiler, un outil de base dans ce genre de situation. Ils nous ont simplement orientés vers une pharmacie proche, qui était fermée car nous étions un dimanche. Nous avons donc dû passer la matinée aux urgences de l’hôpital Saint-Pierre pour faire soigner notre enfant.

Nous avons choisi de ne pas interrompre l’atelier ni de prendre de photos de l’état de la salle, par respect pour l’artiste qui animait l’activité et parce que notre priorité était la santé de notre bébé.
