Wonderful experience, very close to the access for the cableway, with parking. the second time in spa but the first and not the last in this special little hotel/restaurant. We loved the quiet, furnished room and the personal of the breakfast that you cannot find in the others big hotels just next to (really cold atmosphere) We came back to home relaxed. Se you soon for taste also the restaurant!

This is a beautiful building, picture-perfectly placed right at the foot of a wooded hill. The staff were friendly and the stay was comfortable. The beds were really comfortable, and each room was decorated in a pleasant quirky theme. My ensuite bathroom was a bit tight but that was the only flaw I found. Would definitely stay here again.

Location: Best. It's better to also highlight the restaurant since they have Michelin Guide certifications from the past. I wonder what happened. We just ordered some Takeaway.com that night because there was no explanation or at least an advertisement to try and we're very tired.

Check in: It's not very clear where to check in because the frontage was a restaurant. The very friendly lady gave our badge and key to the room. In order to access the hotel if you come back from the Thermes is a very narrow and muddy back access. Not nice.

Room: We got the "best" room that they have for €170/night with breakfast. It's a nice bed with nice and simple interiors but the bed has very narrow sides that makes sleeping claustrophobic. The room heater was very good but the toilet heater was broken so, it's a very cold toilet. Sink doesn't work properly and it would be better if there are at least water bottles provided (it doesn't cost that much). Dead bugs are also present and hairs on the bath tub. A decent vacuum cleaning would be advisable. And please, it doesn't take 5 mins to vacuum the ventilation.

Incident: At 6am I woke up for a smoke and hopefully coffee but there was no one in the property. I accidentally forgot the key and I was locked up for a long time outside in the cold (wearing room slippers and shorts) . At first, I tried to call my friend to open the door but he was still sleeping. I tried to call the number of the hotel but the one who answered(which was the owner) told me that he is sleeping too and told me to wake up my friend to open the door for me in a very very rude manner. So I checked the property if there was an open door like the kitchen and thankfully, Sara was there to help me go in and gave me a coffee.

So please next time, don't put your number if you don't want to be called in an emergency. Simple.

Breakfast: Very good service and breakfast with ample servings and ambiance. Sara even prepared something for my birthday.

Staff makes the hotel great to get its nice review except the arrogant owner who has zero hospitality in his blood. Very terrible experience. But the other staff were the opposite.

For a 170€ a night, at least open the door for your guest in case of an emergency. Sorry to disturb...

Better described as a "Restaurant with rooms' (7 of them) than a hotel. The restaurant is excellent with imaginative cooking and first class service in a relaxed style. Very good and wide ranging wine list. Very good classic continental breakfast, jams home made, nothing in nasty plastic packets (except Nutella). The rooms are newly decorated, comfortable, but fairly small. The Hotel as a whole is rated 2*, this reflects the accommodation, the restaurant is worth a much higher rating. Staff are friendly and helpful, most speak fair English. The restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesday every week, as are the rooms (the website does not make this clear) so not suitable for a long stay. Excellent location within the Parc 7 Heures a few paces from the funicular up to the Thermes, and a short walk from the...

Stayed for a few nights recently - small, rustic property, well located.||||The ground floor is a restaurant that serves fantastic, high quality food, accompanied by a superb wine list too.||||The hotel rooms above are basic and rustic in style, so fit in with the overall style of the property. The bathrooms are clean and modern, but some of the furniture would benefit from some maintenance or repair. Breakfast for hotel guests is served in the downstairs restaurant - very nice selection of fruits, cheeses etc.||||The rooms are accessed by a very narrow staircase, and there's very little soundproofing. You will hear other guests arriving at night, clambering up the stairs and chatting on the stairwells (when going outside to smoke). ||||Good value for money though, and would work well for...
