Café Jeri — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Acaraú

SOS! Café Jeri has lost almost all of it’s charm and attraction after the renovation of the new investors. Before the renovation, it was a blasting dance floor where you were surrounded by bar tender artists juggling with cocktail bottles, fire jogglers, the percussionist heating up the dance floor right besides the audience and not hidden in the back, huge LED light show (now small LED screen in the back with boring lightshow), mermaids in the pool! All gone 😳! Why? Also, you are now forced to buy a drink before entering, people are now just standing around, no emotions anymore, just a boring commercial rooftop bar. Drinks are served in paper cups instead of glass, seriously? I thought Jeri is trying to avoid trash and is sustainable!? Also the taste was medium. The DJ doesn’t rock the dancefloor anymore, mixes all styles like a highschool DJ. Where is DJ Jader Lima, he was a proper professional EDM DJ? To the French Investors: You ruined the brand Cafe Jeri, the place is half empty now. Never change a running system! I’m sure you regret your bad decisions already. We will never come again unless this bad concept has improved significantly...

Very nice place to spend the end of an afternoon and beginning of the night. The large balcony with its great location really sets the scene. There is a strong use of "special effects": like the pyrotechnician, the juggler, the mermaid, the dancers, the soap bubble maker, the drummer, and so on; all these gives the party an unuqie, and dear I say exclusive, feel. The bartenders are also good jugglers and will do "bar tricks" from time to time. There are two exclusive areas on both sides of the huge terrace. The drinks in general do cost a bit (if you want something special) but it's understandable everything considered. Não vá sem antes ler isso!🆘 O Café Jeri tem um por do sol realmente lindo e só isso de bom que o lugar tem. Chegamos lá por volta das 16:30 com a promessa de que teríamos doble caipirinha e heineken até às 17:39 e ficou sem sistema até às 17:00, deixando todos sem poder consumir nada nesse período. O sunset estava legal até a hora do por do sol, porém, o DJ continuou tocando as mesmas músicas até por volta das 19hrs o que fez que boa parte do público irem embora. A partir daí começou a saga com as bebidas. A Heineken por incrível que parece caiu como um tijolo no nosso estômago, nunca bebemos uma Heineken que fizesse tão mal como lá. Todas os drinks que pedimos vieram com 1 dose de álcool e o copo lotado de gelo. Bebemos quase R$ 300,00 de gelo, sim, gelo! Bebidas horríveis e cerveja quente. Como a casa não cobra pra entrar, vai um público muito ruim depois do por do sol, na grande maioria composta por adolescentes. Sentimos que estávamos numa matinê de tanta molecada que tinha. Tentamos ainda assim curtir um pouco o lugar e lá pras 21:30, ou seja, faltando 30 minutos pra fechar a casa, sentamos num pequeno deck do camarote do lado esquerdo da pick-up do DJ e o segurança nos expulsou de lá. Não havíamos “invadido” o camarote, que estava totalmente vazio, sentados na parte de fora e o segurança nos tirou de lá sem uma explicação plausível. Só queríamos descansar os pés por 5 minutos e ele não teve a mínima sensibilidade de entender o contexto e ser maleável como acontece em todas as baladas que frequentamos pelo Brasil a fora.
