Restaurante Tamarindo — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Acaraú

I’m completely traumatized and horrified by the level of aggressiveness and lack of professionalism in this restaurant. On January 6th of 2024 I visited Tamarindo’s Restaurant for dinner and from the beginning to the end I was disrespected, ignored, bitten to the state of bleeding on the ground. All that because I complained about the poor service, completely unacceptable!

After I finally got to talk to a senior member team, the service didn’t improve and I continued to be ignored until another waiter finally started to take orders. He was quite pleased to be fair but didn’t stick around until the end.

When I finally finished my dinner I witnessed table after table closing their bills while I continued to be sat there and continue to be ignored by the waiter nicknamed Juninho.

After 30 minutes of waiting and tired of waiting for my bill I got up and walked towards the hostess to explain the situation, perhaps she would have a little bit more of empathy. That’s when the waiter Juninho accused me of attempting to leave without paying the bill.

I offered my card and once again explained that I was very disappointed. He didn’t seemed to think that was worth any validation, instead just after my credit card got approved I was attacked by two members of the stuff. Juninho and another waiter. They hit my face and when I was on the ground they continued to kick my stomach, ribs and back. Finally I was rescued by a senior stuff member. He was the only kind person that attempted to help me throughout the horrible experience I had in the restaurant.

I left to my hotel covered in blood and begging for someone to call the police which seems to be a hard task in Jericoacoara.

Ambiente agradável porém atendimento ruim do garçom e do gerente, que estavam muito mais preocupados em dar uma desculpa do que atender as expectativas do cliente. Pedi um prato de Vatapá que segundo diz, é camarão e lagosta, vieram 7 camarões (ok) e três pedacinhos pequenos de lagosta que, enfileirados, não somava um camarão. Reclamei com o garçom que fez pouco caso e depois com o Gerente, que antes que eu pudesse falar já foi dando suas próprias desculpas. Comida estava excelente, mas esse prato não condiz com o que é vendido. Já comi nesse restaurante 6 vezes e essa foi a primeira vez que o prato não valeu a pena, estou dando uma estrela não é nem pela quantidade de comida ou valor, mas pelo fato de não ter sido bem escutado como cliente que sou.

Pleasant atmosphere, but poor service from both the waiter and the manager, who seemed more concerned with making excuses than meeting customer expectations. I ordered the Vatapá dish, which is advertised as containing shrimp and lobster. I received 7 shrimp (which was fine), but only three tiny pieces of lobster that, lined up, wouldn’t equal the size of one shrimp. I complained to the waiter, who was dismissive, and then to the manager, who started giving excuses before I could even explain. The food was excellent, but this dish did not match what was advertised. I’ve eaten at this restaurant six times before, and this is the first time the dish wasn’t worth it. Minha experiência no restaurante foi extremamente DECEPCIONANTE. Primeiramente, o local estava abafado e quente, tornando-se desconfortável para os clientes. Os ventiladores eram insuficientes para refrescar o ambiente, o que só piorou a situação.

Além disso, o atendimento foi péssimo. Não havia nenhum tipo de treinamento entre a equipe, que parecia desatenta e desinteressada. Mesmo com apenas cinco pessoas no salão, eles estavam ocupados em suas próprias rodinhas de conversa, ignorando completamente os clientes.

O custo benefício dos pratos foi terrível. Eles eram caríssimos, considerando a qualidade e quantidade oferecida. As porções eram mínimas, deixando-nos com a sensação de que fomos mal servidos. Embora o sabor dos pratos fosse apenas ok, a experiência em geral não justificava de forma alguma o preço cobrado.

Para piorar, fomos surpreendidos com o preço exorbitante da água, que estava sendo vendida por 9,00! Sentimo-nos enganados e explorados diante dessa cobrança absurda.

No geral, minha avaliação para esse restaurante é extremamente negativa. O ambiente desconfortável, o atendimento despreparado, o alto custo sem retorno e a sensação de ser explorado financeiramente são motivos suficientes para não recomendar essa...
