Pousada El Viajero — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Angra dos Reis

The owner seemed like a nice guy, and in some ways I feel bad for this review, but the place just isn't up to scratch. It has potential, given its good location, but it's not a good place to stay and was actually kinda expensive compared to what we could have gotten for the same money had we waited to book. It needs a lot of work and care and attention. ||The whole place has an odd vibe. The first room we went in downstairs was full of mold and very damp. We moved rooms and the AC didn't work, so again, all our stuff felt damp, but at least it got sunlight. Everything is unclean and dusty/ dirty. The mattresses are black and brown and the bedding is old and tatty and feels unclean. The bathrooms are grimy and have never been properly cleaned. Breakfast is ok but I felt very put off eating it because of how unclean the place felt and the woman cooking didn't have great standards of hygiene when handling the food or putting it in the fridge. Most of is was the same stuff each day just brought back out too and all piled up on top of each other. One day she made us egg, the next two, nothing! So weird! The owner was living in a room with a matress just on the floor just off the the terrace so it felt weird to go on there when he's just asleep on the floor. They also had a dog on there that was skin and bone, I hope he is a rescue and is being nursed back to health or something, but every time we saw him he was just asleep on his little bed and it made me pretty sad. Passamos o último feriado com alguns amigos na pousada El Viajero. Ela é um hostel com hospedagens compartilhadas. Foi minha primeira experiência em hospedagens assim, e foi bacana. |Conseguimos ficar todos no mesmo quarto (éramos 5 pessoas). |O proprietário Daniel é super gente fina, foi bem receptivo conosco.|As acomodações são simples, o ar condicionado não estava funcionando, porém nada que fosse capaz de estragar o passeio. |É uma pousada super bem localizada a 5 minutos do centro histórico de Paraty e de frente com a rodoviária. |Foi nós fornecido um café da manhã simples, porém muito bem feito, se não me engano pela funcionária Fabiana. Pousada simples com características de hostel. Ótimo custo benefício.||||Prós:||-Receptividade e atendimento pelo Daniel, muito solícito e sempre prestativo. ||-Café da manhã, embora simples, muito bom o suficiente para começar o dia.||-Localização, a cinco minutos de caminhada do centro histórico e de frente ao terminal rodoviário.||-Vaga para alguns carros.||-Valor da diária - ligeiramente mais em conta que as outras hospedagens. ||||Contras: ||-Quarto sem porta no box do chuveiro, barulho logo cedo as 6h (acredito ser liquidificador) e banheiro compartilhado fica sempre de porta aberta, odor fica no corredor logo na porta dos quartos. ||-Alguns hospedes mal educados chegaram de madrugada falando alto e fazendo barulho, talvez devesse ter avisos para não incomodar os demais hospedes,||-Bastante pernilongo no quarto. ||-Ventilador...
