Pousada Rancho do Buna — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Barreirinhas

Buna is the name of the owner which has build along the years this amazing place. The garden, the wood sculptures made by Buna from local trees, the animals that walk around, like peacocks, dogs, cats, duck, lizards etc all form a very harmonious environment that is hard to leave, when it comes that day of the departure !!||The rooms are simple and rustic, but all have air conditioning. The ranch has no wifi, but believe me, we can survive without it !!||Breakfast is great with fruit, juices coming for their own vegetable garden. Jams and cakes are made at the ranch as well. The restaurant is also really good and sometimes is Buna that cooks for the guests. If you are lucky to be there when Buna is around he will entertain you with all the stories of his life in Atins which are really enchanting because when he first came to this place it was almost as an undiscovered paradise and he built this ranch along the years going through lots of adventures!!||Special mention goes to his stuff that is very, very friendly.||To summarize: if you go to Atins, Rancho do Buna is the right...

We were expecting to be welcome on the edge of the beach to be taken to the Cottage but no one was there, we tried to phone announcing our arrival but their telephone did not work, our boatmen had to walk to the cottage to say that we were waiting under the hot sun, thanks to another Pousada who offered fresh jouces and some shade to rest. We were supposed to spend the whole day and one night to continue heading through the Coast in our way to Ceará...the tours were great to see the dunes and we did everything on our own because we did not get any assistance from the stuff, the manager were not kind at all and treat us in a very rude way, it seemed that we were doing a favor to be there, the rooms not well ventilated. We arrived to Atins from Barreirinhas with the boat tour. We got a ride to the pousada and liked the place right away! Our cabin was nice but we did have some problems with the toilet flush and eventually got a new cabin which was better. ||||Beautiful rancho, lots of animals, nice relaxd feeling with hammocks and good caipirinhas ;).||||We visited the dunes and lagoons and it was just wonderful! You can get a whole lagoon just for yourself! ||||The breakfast was very good so was the service. I was so happy that finally someone spoke english and i didn't need to manage with my poor portuguese :). We also had lunch and dinner there couple of times and really enjoyed.
