Staff were very friendly and professional, and for the price this hotel is good value. Breakfast was great: abundant, tasty, and varied.

However, the pool and gym are out of use indefinitely (something not mentioned on Hotels.com). Another thing: My fridge was kept well-stocked with bottled water. But this water is not complementary: you are billed for this water on check-out, as part of the "taxes and services" . Nowhere in the room does it say this water is not complementary; nor are guests informed of this by reception. While the cost was not excessive, guests should be informed of this in the interests...

Wonderful customer service but some, average customer service from others. Also, on two occasions while I was paying for service (the snacks in the room). The hotel representative stated that they did not have change and I felt force to leave the remaining funds with that person. I don't mind tipping but I prefer it's something that I want to do and no force to do. Also, I was a little disappointed with the breakfast selection. The hotel is located in a safe part of town with lots of places to eat nearby. Quick and easy taxi ride to other touristic areas. The room itself was spacious and maintained fine. I did, however, occasionally notice a strange sewage smell in the hallway similar to that mentioned in other reviews. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special. My main hesitation involves customer service. The front-desk is simply not friendly, will not go out of their way to be helpful, and are insufficiently trained to welcome...
