LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS NEARBY * Just few km (3-4 km) from Praia de Rosa, this beautiful place is worth staying more than 1 night. Located in a secured garden, surrounded by greenery, flowers and singing birds. Truly magical place. ||Secured car parking is in front of the reception and remote control was given to me in case I wanted to leave in the evening. ||||HOTEL OVERVIEW Beautiful place where you can relax and have a fantastic time surrounded by the nature, nice view and the sun (I missed that part, haha). There are wooden walk paths to bring you to your beautiful rooms facing the hills and Praia de Rosa in the background. ||Swimming pool is awesome with a lovely view and their bar is just next to it. When I was there I was literally alone, but they kept the bar opened for me and even try to find beer when I really needed one. Unfortunately I was kind of unlucky with the weather, but it was still beautiful time anyway.||When you wake up early morning, you can hear thousands of singing birds and some other small creatures jumping from one tree to another. Totally interrupted by rare species called humans. || PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP * Leisure||||RESERVATION * I booked it through ebookers.ie as they had the best price. ||||LENGTH OF MY STAY * 1 night – November 2018 (not enough)||||CHECK-IN * Check-in was quick and hassle-free. I was warmly welcomed, my keys given and also remote for the gate. I was helped with my luggage as there were good few steps on the wooden stairs and walk path to reach my room. If I remember correctly, the guy’s name was Felipe. Great help with this. ||||LOBBY & RECEPTION * Full of small details and various items, Buddhist statues and some local information.||||ROOM * #11 – Suite – what a treat! I honestely was expecting something smaller and far lower quality. The room was lovely. Spacious, kind of rustic in style, spotless clean and very comfortable. Balcony was giving me view of that amazing garden and Rosa Beach in the distance! I kept my doors closed for as long as I could (as it became too cold during the night) as it was just a pleasure to listen the surroundings. It was fantastic after long drive that day.||In the room, I had a flat-screen TV, a microwave, kettle, fridge, an umbrella and then a hammock, table & chair in the balcony. All you may need for your relaxing stay. ||||BATHROOM * Also comfortable and clean. Made in a natural style with some tiled lizards in the shower and tiled sink. Toiletries didn’t look too luxurious, but I used them later at home and they were awesome. I would actually buy more of the conditioner from them, haha.||||BREAKFAST * I mentioned that I was the only guest in the resort, so I wasn’t exactly sure what time they will serve me breakfast. I asked for a ‘small portion’ for the morning, not to hassle anybody and what I got, was the full breakfast buffet of lovely local items. Freshly cut fruit, cheese, cakes (mmmmmmmmniam), breads, jams, cold meat, milk & juices, yoghurt - far too much for one person. But it was delicious and coffee was fantastic. Lovely ladies made also tapioca for me (which probably was the only piece I should have eaten that morning, haha, but I tried almost everything). Really amazed with the setting for one guest only.||||INTERNET ACCESS * It was complimentary and easy to use. Connection was good.||||CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE * After breakfast, I was able to hit the road just after quick check-in. As I wanted to do the Serra do Rio de Rastro, I couldn’t spent too much time in this lovely surrounding. ||||STAFF * Fantastic. Lovely owner has it’s property polished in a natural way. Beautiful garden paradise in a great location. Felipe (I really hope I didn’t not mix up the name, I’m sorry if so) was very helpful and fantastic asset for the Pousada.||||OVERVIEW * Loved it! I think this is a beautiful property and if you have few days, you would be delighted with it. The beach isn’t that far (can be interesting when the road is wet as it might be slippery), but I definitely recommend Morada da Praia do Rosa for short or long holidays. I really enjoyed it. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms, beautiful garden and relaxing pool area. 5/5 score or even more . I actually noticed now that this is rated as 2 - I’m actually shocked as I would easily give them well deserved 4* categorization stars (and I stayed in good few hotels in the past). There's a lot of heart and hard work involved in this property and I really wish them even more...
